Wow!! I loved this story. The characters are darlings. Especially the mischievous matriarch grandmother. The grandparents love all their grandsons. Natalie is happy being her. She loves life and let's it show. He's stoic, all-business, hard. Everyone respects, if not fears him. Everyone except Natalie. A great story that was such a breath of fresh air to read. Thank you Layla.

Jake a workaholic trying to getaways from the family business, Natalie trying to find a job and not make the same mistake. The grandmother in this book is so funny she is so head strong and the grand children can't say no to her. Great writing I really enjoyed the first book and will definitely be reading the next instalment in this series. Hopefully hear more from Jake and Natalie in the next books and how the naughty grandma is doing and who is she setting up next.

Sometimes Grandmas will see things most don't. Liked Natalie from the start. A woman who would follow her own dream instead of the path her family had mapped out for her. Very bright and tons of energy for party planning. Jake was your normal workaholic having very little time to himself and rarely had time to date. So when Natalie stormed into his life he was set off kilter which happened rather quickly. I really liked this story but the one thing I thought was going to happen, didn't. I thought in the end Natalie would be the one person that fit into the job Jake was trying to fill in one of the family companies. But, I realized that Natalie was set on doing what she loved, not what her degree suggested. I thought Jake fell a little to quickly, if he was a brooding loner it would have taken more effort I think. I also found it odd that her apartment never had air conditioning. Even if the building was old, most would purchase a window unit. Right? But all in all a good read and would recommend it.
