Though quite expensive for what it is, I do feel its worth the money. We have a toy Cavapoo, which is more on the poodle side, with a very curly coat, which is very matt prone. We were recommended this item by our groomer, as it was what she was using. Every time we brush her it she looks and feels as she has just come from the groomers, so soft and fluffy, it's amazing! So far we haven't noticed any matts, which is great, so very effective. Size wise would say it's only suitable for small to medium dogs, as the brush hair isn't massive, but for small to medium dogs it's great. The quality is also extremely good, with the brush bristles made from soft but firm metal, and the handle/head from real wood, really giving that premium feel. Highly recommend!

Chris Christian brushes are amazing & one of the only ones I can use to get through my old English sheepdog coats, this one is great for line brushing & getting to smaller areas, very good brush I would recommend

It’s a magical brush! I know my place and a big thing is to not touch my cat’s belly. I always use a few tricks so I can clip the mats on there… … but with this brush he loves being brushed and even purred (he doesn’t purr). Also he is soft as cotton! I’m able to remove a lot of his shedding hair and he enjoys it. I say he has a kitty timer for brushing, but I think he’s using a snooze button

I have a tiny Shih-Tzu and Pomeranian cross. He has the Pomeranian hair. This brush has been amazing getting all the loose fluff off and it has helped with knots. I still go through his hair with the metal comb afterwards, but there is sooo much coming off with the brush! And he looks a lot fluffier and bouncy after brushing with this. I’m so glad I bought it. I definitely recommend it for dogs with long hair and double coats.

I bought this on advice of my dog groomer. It's a professional quality brush and therefore I knew I'd have to pay a lot for it. It is sharp. It's a good size and comfortable for holding and easy to use. I don't know if it's value for money because I'm not a professional groomer.

I bought this almost 2yrs ago to groom my toy poodle. This is the best brush to prevent matting. I was initially hesitant due to the price, but it's so woth it.

I have stickers I bought at the pet store and they're "okay" for brushing. After doing some research, Chris Christensen brushes were recommended as top rated but they are expensive ($50 for a dog brush . . . Really???) But the size was what I needed for my schnoodle's face. Turns out all dog brushes are NOT created equal. This brush is great for a small dog's face, ears, behind the ears, legs, and when I brush my girl, she stays brushed for several days. With pet store brushes, my dog looks raggedy the next day in spite of 30 minutes of brushing. I started brushing the rest of my dog in spite of the size and it really clears out hair and she's so fluffy and pretty.

Perfect! Not cheap and I live it

This is a fantastic brush for my pomeranian. It's a perfect size for a smaller dog and does a great job preventing tangles and getting dead hair out from her undercoat. It's best used in conjunction with a pin brush. It's on the pricier side, but it's durable and very well made. If you have a smaller double coated breed, I would highly recommend this brush. If you have a larger double coated breed, you might want to get a larger slicker brush.
