Hi, Hycote Paint stripper is based on non chlorinated solvents and we do recommend using in a well ventilated area using the correct PPE. Please read the back of the aerosol or visit the Hycote web page for guide lines and a copy of the MSDS

Q: Will it remove the paint down to the metal on my 1994 Mercedes?

Hi Hycote paint stripper is a blend of aggressive solvents in a slow release gum formulation. The effectiveness and degree of removal is dependant on the depth of coat and duration of time it is left on the substrate, but in answer to your question, it will remove most paintwork to bare metal. hope this helps
