Easy to set up, but would have concerns around accuracy
I found the device easy to calibrate as per the instructions. You need to be careful as they are generic instructions, so some steps are only relevant to other devices.I found temperature reading to be inaccurate. I have a validated infra-red thermometer and the salinity meter initially reads 4.5c above the actual temperature. If I keep it in the liquid I'm measuring for a few minutes, it eventually comes down close to the actual temperature, but I would expect it to give an instant accurate reading. It's well-built overall, but the lack of accuracy in temperature would lead me to question the accuracy of the salinity reading.
