DMX does not work
Controls LEDs fine without DMX. Has no ability to be controlled by DMX. It does something when you swap the D+ and D- input, but it does not control intensity as it should

Compact design
Tested it for a couple of days and it works fine. I like the compact design and screw terminals for all cables, which allows for a really tiny footprint without a bulky XLR plug. I used it for a machine vision lighting setup where space was limited.

Nice Mini Decoder with poor instructions! Needs 9V - 24V DC power source!
This is a very tiny RGBW lights controller with very tiny and confusing instructions. I tested it with a blue LED strip light and it worked OK although many functions were not available with this basic light I had on hand. You need to connect the power source with V- and V+ inputs and then your LED lights by using the second V+ and R with the color coded ports for each wire. The instructions you see on the picture is all that is comes with, not much, and the only wiring diagram provided is impossible to read as it is too small and poorly printed. Make sure to use DC power source and in no way connect it directly to 110V outlet!

Not quite what I though it would be
This item arrived unharmed in amx packagin Like title says - Not quite what I though it would be This controller is small. It works fine but is very simple in functionality. Three options for programming. It's so small, I'm not sure how this will work for me yet, I will come back to this review page to see how others have applied.

Interesting small DMX512 decoder
Works well enough for what it is. There is a thin double sided instruction sheet included. The sales page implies that this can handle 16 Amps on the PWM outputs, but from the instruction sheet it would appear that it is 4 Amps per each of 4 PWM outputs. So keep that in mind. That also means that you need at least a 16 Amp DC power supply to drive the max output. It does work well enough. I haven't tried it yet on actual DMX but usingi the buttons on the device it does work OK. Note that the instructions don't give much detail, The input voltage is 9 - 24 VDC. I only tested with some 12V LED strips and supplied 12V DC for the input. Connect ground of the power supply to the V- input, and the positive output from the supply to the V+ input next to the V-. Then the V+ next to the R output should connect to all of the four LED lights positive leads and each LED light negative lead should connect to W B G R respectively.

Does What It Says
Very compact and works just fine - the instructions are pretty limited so I recommend reading some of the other reviews that have outlined in more detail. Once that it all sorted out, this decoder does what you need it to without a lot of extras or bulk.

as advertised
This device allows you to control color LEDs from a liht board. If you are familiar with DMX and low voltage wiring, it is fairly easy to use. It is a substantially built professional product.
