Mamma's Fresh Italian Cheese Mozzarella Fior Di Latte - 8 oz / 227 g

This was a wonderful product - the cheese was delivered on time and packed in still-frozen ice packs so it was still cold and still fresh. The cheese melted like a dream on our pizza fritta, the one and only reason we ordered this. We just returned from 3 weeks in Italy and needed our fior di latte fix. This did it. Fresh, delicious, melty, stretchy, divine. It cost a pretty penny (a very pretty one) but was worth the indulgence. Treat yourself.

This was similar in texture to what you would get in Italy. On pizza the texture and melt was also great. The taste was like nothing. On a pizza it couldn't be noticed, but even with prosciutto it didn't taste good. It wouldn't be worth it to me to buy again.

I purchased this product and apparently did not see the cost because I NEVER would have purchased this item! It was $62 for 3 tubs with relatively small amounts of cheese. There are many good products there on the site that are reasonable in cost which could not have been as bad as this cheese. And if it had been bad and cost less then I might have just thought it was bad cheese. When I used the product, there was a little bitterness in the flavor then after keeping it in the whey in the same container it was unedible within 3 days. IT WAS A BIG WASTE OF MONEY and I would NEVER RECOMMEND it. I'm not even sure if it was safe. I've never gotten such a rip off, DON'T BUY!!!!
