Nice handles
I really like this pie plate. Easy to remove from the oven with handles. My favorite pie plate so far.

Wife loves it.
I had dropped a similar dish taking it out of the oven. This one got me out of the dog house. Very high quality. A little smaller than the one I broke, but my wife likes the item, especially that it has handles!I saw my life flash before my eyes as the one I dropped bounced off the oven door, and both it and the Quiche my wife was cooking shattered on the floor.Whew! Glad I found this replacement.

Easy to clean
I have several Staub products, they all look great and provide consistent performance. The ease of cleaning is a nice surprise, you will find over time your Staub product will keep its new appearance.

Great Little Dish
I bought a little toaster oven and I needed a small ceramic pie dish that would fit. I can make custards to my heart's content.

Color changes with heat, company doesn’t have satisfactory answer
I love my pan, HOWEVER, I experienced something that I have been reading about since it happened. I used my pan for the first time in a 375 degree oven for about 20 minutes and it came out almost purple, the original color being cherry red. I contacted Staub and they denied this being a problem, but I started reading forums online and discovered that it was reported pretty frequently with the cherry red color and others reported the company’s ambiguity.I contacted Staub again, at that time they conceded that it is a problem, but gave me a generic answer saying that as long as the finish wasn’t coming off my cast iron I was ok. The pan is porcelain, not cast iron, which was a giveaway that the rep emailing me didn’t have enough information to give me an educated answer.I used the pan one more time, and the color changed again. Not sure what I will do with it, I wanted to love it so much.

It made a terrible pie crust and yes
I thought it was an enameled cast iron pie plate since it was Staub and that was what I typed in. It made a terrible pie crust and yes, all in all I’m disappointed.
