it does the job well

I bought this for my father who had knee replacement surgery. He could not get his first walker past the bathtub transfer bench to access the rest of the bathroom and he could not lift the bench to get it out of the way. I had two priorities. The walker needed to have u-shaped side support bars and I needed to know the actual measurements. There was another brand on Amazon with several different pricepoints that appeared to be the same but didn't have the detailed specs this one did. I chose this one because of the detailed specs. The width on the floor at the front of the walker is actually the same as the walker he already had. The width on the floor at the back of the walker is narrower than the other one, which enables it to slide by the transfer bench with no difficulties. It is sturdy. It has solved our problem. One word of caution to perspective buyers- we could not get the feet off the legs without wheels to replace them with gliders/ skis. We ended up switching the lower parts of the those legs with the ones on the original walker. The parts were fully interchangeable. I am completely satisfied.

This is a standard walker. The construction seems good, and it folds for transport. It requires minimal assembly, and it can be adjustable to various heights. It will be used for someone 5'6", but I'm 6'3" and could adjust it to my height. It is lightweight aluminum. Note that a walker is different from a rollator. l A walker has two wheels, while a rollator has 4. Walkers provide greater stability, whereas a rollator is easier to maneuver.

I purchased this product for my husband, who is 6'4" tall, to replace a standard walker that was too wide for some of the doorways inside our home. The width of this walker is perfect for those narrow doorways. The wheels glide more smoothly over all surfaces, especially on the rooms in our home that have 13 inch tile floors with a lot of grout lines. My husband prefers this walker for its ease of maneuverability. It's lightweight but very sturdy. It folds flat for carrying and easy storage when traveling. He likes everything about this walker except the 2 button push mechanism. I would have given it 5 stars except for this one feature. It's cumbersome for him to fold. He needs to have both hands on the grip to keep his balance. However, he has to remove one hand from the grip to operate the push buttons. You have to press down really hard on each button one at a time to get the mechanism to slide. Sometimes it gets stuck. Most of the standard walkers have the triggers which are so much easier. This product should have the trigger mechanism to assist with folding.

Very easy to assemble. No instructions needed. Adjustable legs. Rolls smoothly. Lightweight and easy to transport by car. It feels safe and substantial when walking. This is a great walker not just for the elderly but for anyone who has back issues and needs a little help from time to time.
