I’ve used it just once but it seems like it’s a great product. My hair is very dry but It moisturizes my hair even without the need of using a conditioner

The consistency isn't what most of us are used too. It feels a little slimy, but that is the point. It contains so much slip that my 4c hair detangled in 2 passes with the detangling comb while this shampoo was in my hair. My hair is 100% natural and this shampoo leaves my hair super moisturized. I don't even have to condition every time I use it. I wash my hair every other day, but because this shampoo seems to be super concentrated, I don't have to use a whole lot. If my hair has a lot of gel or styling cream in it, one heavy shampoo and a second light shampoo leaves my hair clean, soft and super shiny! Yes, shiny 4c hair!!! Y'all better get a bottle of this. I use it on my daughters hair as well. She has really curly hair, 3a/b, and it can get a little tangled. One wash with this shampoo, and she is tangle and scream free. I highly recommend this product to anyone who wants to have detangled, well behaved hair.

This shampoo works so well on my hair! I have your typical African-American hair but in its natural state, my curl pattern isn't as defined compared to others. I have curls and waves but they aren't tight or coily (except where my new growth is when I'm in between relaxers), but using this shampoo, not only gets my hair super clean (I'm a sucker for the suds and it smells good too) but it's helped bring back definition to my curly hair when I dry it naturally...and I have less breakage too! The product is a thicker shampoo than normal so you don't need a whole lot. I swear by most of the Miss Jessie's products (the only ones that apply to my hair) and recommend this, along with the Leave In Condish product.

It's great for adding curl to your hair but it's not very moisturizing for the scalp. My scalp was still a bit dry but my hair itself was very curly and somewhat moisturized. If you're looking for a curler, then this is it.

I have used this shampoo before and the first time it was perfect and it left my hair feeling very light and clean. I ordered a second bottle according to my order history in 2017 and the shampoo had a thicker than usual consistency but I didn't make a big deal about it and just used it. I figure things happen and no review was necessary. However purchasing another bottle last week in 2020 and to discover the same issue with the shampoo and to find it's even worse?? I had to do a review.This shampoo is literally like a clump of old glue. Unfortunately for me I already opened the item. I washed my hair in the shower and was surprised by this. I literally came out the shower and took the pics you see attached. I am very disappointed as I think they are selling old products. I have not had any trouble with the conditioner. It's perfect and smells great. However there is something up with the shampoo. Not sure if it's where they are storing it or if the ingredients have changed. Regardless, for the money it costs just for 1 bottle, this is not acceptable!

This has the consistency of phlegm and doesn't spread easily. However this is the only shampoo I've been using for my curly hair extensions recently and will continue to do so. It's great at detangling and it doesn't dry out the hair as other shampoos do. I use it with the leave in conditioner from this brand and "multi cultural curls" and my extensions always look great
