It’s nice and light, and seems to work well

This is nice compact CO monitor. I tested it side by side with another brand monitor and the readings were similar. So far it has worked as advertised. The case is very tight which reduces its usefulness. If you decide to mount it be aware that the sensor opening is on the back and that it needs unobstructed access to sample the for CO.Like all the other monitors I have, or have had, this one has a published life span. For this unit it is five years.

I like this because it is light weight and easy for traveling in car, plane, etc. I used it constantly, even in the hotel. I purchased a different unit just to have a back up and both appear to be consistent.

This CO monitor works great. Tested it with a burnt paper and it sounded the alarm so I'm sure it works. I have a travel RV to take out camping sometimes and it has a propane tank fuel, so this will definitely be of use for the RV. And if I fall asleep with the car engine on to keep the ac or heater on, this will do a great job for that peace of mind. The only thing is it is a little pricey for portability. I can get a plug in type for 1/2 the cost for a 2 pack, or less for a single pack. Also, it does not detect propane nor natural gas leak so I'll have to buy another to monitor those separately for the RV. Thus, 4.5 starts rounded up.

Detector is small enough to fit in a pocket but might be too large for a keychain, it's palm size. It does show real time CO readings instead of other CO detectors I've had that only display a reading after a certain threshold is met. The detector self calibrates every time it boots up, the manual states the process takes 3 minutes and I timed it at 3 minutes. I'm not a huge fan of the case/holder it came with. It's a very tight fit and it also has a stiff retention clip too.Also of note is that it's recommended in the manual that the detector should be replaced about 5 yrs, meaning it has a usage life. Which wasn't too surprising as the the home detectors should be replaced periodically too although those can last up to twice as long. Battery life is about a year, it uses those button type batteries.

First off I didn't read the listing like I thought I did because it clearly states its for a vehicle and I got it for my downstairs furnace room. It does not come with batteries and uses button batteries so make sure you have some of those on hand. After I found the batteries I installed it in the basement. It has a sticky mount and I simply placed it in the room stuck to something metal and now hope that I never have to use it. It was simple enough to get started and has a test feature so you can make sure the batteries are up periodically. I gave this 5 Stars. Its simple and effective protection for your family and home. I am sure it would work just as good in a vehicle as well.

I've attached it to my keychain for my airplane. Now I can safely monitor CO while flying. Recommended.

Works great. Makes me feel much safer as I have an anxiety with carbon monoxide!
