My favourite of all times
Love love love this coffee, buy it every time I run low on my stock. Smooth, rich, no bitterness, delicious, and when you freshly ground your beans you can actually smell those caramel notes they talk about in description, which I never knew it’s possible to detect. Nice and strong just the way I like it but not too overpowering.

Mayan Gold is excellent
Mayan Gold is my favourite coffee. It is decently strong with a sweet caramel aroma. There's no bitterness or acidity.

Not as good as the Macchu Picchu variety
Thought I'd give this a try as I'm a real fan of the Macchu Picchu variety from Cafe Direct. After tasting over 30 different types of beans over the years varying greatly by cost, origin, roast and quality, the Macchu Picchu appear to suit my palate for medium to dark roasts at a fantastic cost/benefit ratio. Thought I'd give the Mayan Gold a try, hoping that it would be great... Unfortunately for me, it isn't. Thinner body, less chocolate tones... Just not as good. A bit disappointed now that I have 6 bags of the stuff before I can return to the delicious Macchu. Did I just get a bad batch? 🤔

Excellent product
I have tried many coffee beans and this brand is the best I have ever tried. Very nice aroma and is perfect for bean-to-coffee machines (I am using the Siemens EQ500)

Very mellow
Much lighter flavour than expected, and when you've just bought 5 packets it's disappointing to be stuck with it for a few weeks, obviously changing the grind helps, I'm not saying I don't like it, but the high reviews contain reviews of different types, so that's wrong. So smooth taste instead of a coffee hit.
