I’ve seen some companies state they only sell the master version of these remotes. are these the master or slave version?

These ones can be programmed from one that has already been programmed. I suppose that makes them slaves? I use them as additional ones to the originals. Synced and work absolutely fine

You need a 433mhz remote. The XTn 868 series are for the FAAC 868 mhz systems so not compatible.
