These are so handy, small enough to carry in trousers or jacket, very sturdy, good grip, very easy to use

Bought these in order to put up 400m of fencing. They do a very good job and could technically replace the hammer (I always have one hung on my belt anyway) Pros They are heavy and can drive nails no problem, better than a nail I'm not so sure. Cutting, perfect for this and even cut very thick bull wire. Grabbing- again great as this allows me to get plenty of tension on the wire. Pulling. The sharp point allowed me to take nails out when needed. Handles- Comfortable enough to use all day. Cons Nothing springs to mind Great tool and hopefully I will get many years out of it.

This is a solidly made tool from a reliable brand and it proved very useful when installing some small runs of barbed wire. It can be used as a hammer for staples, for extracting old staples and to cut the wire via the side cutters although for heavy duty wire I'd recommend some separate cutters. It is also possible to stretch the wire reasonably for smaller jobs although a more professional stretcher would be needed for longer runs I feel. Given the price, an excellent purchase.

Manufacturing quality "OK", not perfect. But other manufacturers I looked at are worse - 2 others makes returned. The pliers have several uses - done better by other single function tools. but worth having these for convenience.

Good strong tool.

This really does the job. Cuts even the larger gauge high tensile steel wires without drama, has different sized and shaped grips for the various tasks such as gripping wire, turning radisseurs, twisting wires together, crimping etc. and best of all the sharp point for levering out staples, as well as a hammer face (although I use a separate hammer, just for its heft). It's all well-hardened, not like the cheap and nasty steel on some tools and even the sharp point is barely showing wear after a lot of use. Price is good too.

This must be a tool that was designed the correct way eons ago and has never had to change since. The curved pointed end assists with twisting wire (both straight and barbed) and allows a small amount of tension to be applied to the wire. It is a perfect 'all in one' tool for fencing. Having said that, I do find a hefty ball pein hammer is better for banging in larger fencing staples and have also invested in the draper wire tensioning tool. A great set of tools for building 'proper' county type fencing.

J'étais un peu esceptique par rapport à cet outil très répandu aux USA...après avoir refait ma clôture ( 1000 m carrés) avec un seul outil ! je ne reviens plus sur la tenaille, la pince, le marteau etc....gain de temps, l'outil est solide, ça pince, ça coupe (même le barbelé, oui) ça martèle...bref, que du bonheur. No estaba muy seguro de la compra, pero la verdad que es la mejor herramienta que he tenido para alambrar, Con esta herramienta 1 martillo y unas grapas, no te hace falta nada más. Tiene muchísimas utilidades, en Youtube hay videos que te dicen todos sus usos. ENCANTADO UN 10
