Lovely quality, and yes I have noticed a diffence in my skin.

This night serum is from a UK brand called Gold Collagen and has been designed to rejuvenate skin as you sleep. It contains Bakuchiol, which is the natural alternative to Retinol, and also Beech Tree, Hibiscus and Echium Seeds to help reduce the appearance of wrinkles and to strengthen the skin barrier. The serum comes in a weighty glass bottle and looks like a premium product. I use it at night (obviously!) after cleansing and toning. I liked the aroma and, although I could not work out quite what it was, it made it pleasant to use. The texture is neither overly rich or too liquid, it just sits nicely in the middle. It absorbs quickly and so you do not have to wait too long before you apply your night cream. It made my skin feel soft, although I would not say amazingly so. In the morning though my skin still feels soft and looks like I have had a good night’s sleep which is pretty amazing because I never do! Overall I would say this is a good serum. One of the main benefits is that by using Bakuchiol rather than Retinol it means that it is less likely to cause a reaction in sensitive skin. Sometimes Retinol can be a bit harsh so it’s good that an alternative was used. I would not say that it particularly felt like a night serum as it is lighter than some I have tried but the upside of that is that you can quickly move onto using your night cream. I think the price is okay as it is a premium product and I would definitely get it again.

This Gold Collagen night renewal serum arrived in a branded cardboard box which was protected with bubble wrap. The serum is contained within a red tinted 30ml frosted glass bottle complete with glass dropper for dispensing. The serum uses a botanical complex of bakuchiol, beech tree, hibiscus flower and echium seed ingredients which are great for skin regeneration and repair as well as evening the skin tone and texture: • Bakuchiol – the vegan alternative to retinol which stimulates and boots the production of collagen and elastin • Beech Tree – helps hydrate and reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles • Hibiscus Flower & Echium Seed – echium plantagineum seed helps repair the skin’s protective barrier for a natural glow and hibiscus seed refers to the ‘botox plant’ due to its ability to enhance the skin’s elasticity I found that you only needed a very small amount of the opaque gel serum which I applied to my face and neck after cleansing with my fingertips. I have been using this night renewal serum in the evening in combination with the Gold Collagen instant glow day serum in the morning. This duo has left my skin feeling very hydrated without any greasiness and both serums absorb easily into my skin without any adverse reactions. The night renewal serum has a very subtle natural scent which is very pleasant and is particularly good for users who have a sensitivity to retinol and acids, as it doesn’t cause any redness or irritation. The serum is free from major irritants including sulphates and alcohol and is both vegan and cruelty free. The premium glass bottle (with glass dropper) looks lovely on your shelf and I did find that it rejuvenated my skin somewhat, particularly during these cold, dry winter months. Time will tell will the other claims of these serum but so far, I’m pleased. The serum is from a UK brand but made in South Korea and skincare is taken very seriously there. The serum is £36 at the time of reviewing, you don’t use a lot and I think the ingredients are excellent quality so I am happy to recommend it.

Good points: - Looks like it is a serious product. - Nice packaging. - Feels nice and silky to apply. - Quite nice smelling too. - Absorbs quickly Less Good Points: - Pipette proves hit-and-miss to get the product out of the bottle. - Not a lot for your money. - After two weeks I am not seeing or feeling any difference. Maybe too soon? Maybe I need to give it longer? Maybe it's not really a product you can honestly review after a couple of weeks? All valid points.. I know what this should do, what the description says, etc.. I am just not sure I can honestly say in the review period that I can see a benefit beyond what I could get from a far cheaper face/eye cream. It certainly looks the part though.

After using this daily for a week I haven't noticed any difference to my skin. My skin feels no different - it's not softer nor any physical improvement in texture, appearance or tone. The serum is quite thin and feels like I'm applying a water to my face. It soaks in very quickly and my skin is no different in feel or look afterwards. It's as if I haven't applied anything. I'll keep using it and if there's any improvement I'll update this review but alas so far I'm not seeing or feeling any benefit from it. The packaging is nice and the bottle looks expensive but we can't always go by the presentation - it's the ability of the contents to do what they are said to do that count and currently I'm not seeing that. Personally I feel it's way over priced.

I will come back and update this review in around 2-3 months to give an honest update on the effects of ageing because this isn’t going to be something you see over night. The packaging itself is impressive and looks mid range, a easy open box with a glass bottle inside with a gold lid and white dropper which I am please to report is leak free unlike so many serums I have got. The dropper releases the serum perfectly without overwhelming amounts as there is a silky texture to the serum. There is a light pleasant smell to it and when applied it feels wonderfully smooth and nourishing without having that awful greasy residue remaining. My skin the next morning still felt really smooth and I have to say it’s one of the nicer feeling serums I have used over the years. So far so good now let’s bring on the anti ageing results …..

Non voglio dare un voto più basso ma onestamente pensavo ad una corposità più intensa o oleosa. Ottimo per l'estate perché è molto acquoso, ma non credo sia molto idratante
