Being a fan of Betty neels anyway I had to say this is one of her earlier books which always had more detail, more emotion, and a more satisfactory ending (not rushed) and one of my favourites. Her stories are always delightful Cinderella stories and no sex or violence to marr them. They are in fact ROMANCE which is sadly lacking in recent years. Only wish she was still with us to write more of the same.

BETTY NEELS wrote the most wonderful novels of romantic fiction.Her style was unique.Great story lines and believable characters, about ordinary people regardless of their status facing everyday problems and their choices in life. This particular story is no exception ,enjoyable from the first chapter to the last word of the final chapter. Unforgettable !. Sad that she is no longer with us.

Oh how I love these beautiful and enchanting books. They settle something in my heart and remind me of so many important things, love honesty loyalty and hope. Thank you Betty Neels for leaving this with us.

I bought this book Carolines Waterloo for my wife who is an avid reader and collector of her books and she says she enjoyed this second hand one as it was in good condition for its age.

One of the first books I ever read.Lovely chaste,good old fashioned timeless romance.Lovely story of the girl next door who gets the man-lovely.
