Beauty Eye Intensifier Pencil, Gold Reef, 1.6-Gram

I fell in love with these Eye Intensifier Pencils (really a creamy crayon) a couple of years ago and have tried different shades. I have green eyes and several of the colors really make my eyes shine and stand out beautifully (think about trying the violet shades as well if you have green or hazel eyes). But the Bangalore shade is my personal favorite. This makes morning makeup time extra simple and quick. Just this "pencil" (which never tugs at your delicate eyelids but glides on and sets quickly) and some mascara and you are definitely good-to-go for eye makeup. It's wonderfully long lasting and does not crease or run even during hot, humid summer weather. Make sure you have a large size sharpener (you can get them SO inexpensively at any drug store) so you can use every bit of this terrific product. I always make sure I have a "spare" on hand so I never run out. I've never tried any eye color like this. Brilliant as both liner and shadow!

This Eye Pencil is so smooth - it goes on without ANY tugging whatsoever. The smudger end diffuses the liner softly. The color - Victoria Falls - is perfect for brown eyes. It really makes them stand out. I definitely recommend the Sue Devitt Eye Intensifier Pencil for anyone who wants a quality product.

Sue Devitt pencils have beautiful color and go on well because they are soft. But because of that softness, the point blunts very quickly requiring resharpening after a couple of applications. Also I found I had to purchase their $10 sharpener. A cheap drugstore sharpeners will chew up this pencil in no time, breaking off the point with only one turn, requiring another sharpening, etc, until there's nothing left of a $22 pencil. I keep using this brand, but if I found something that would go on as well, I wouldn't buy it any more.

Best pencils ever! These last forever so forget the price - they are best colors and stay on all day. I don't buy any others anymore - Zaire is another color that is terrific! I am blonde and have hazel/green eyes and cannot go too dark or I look cartoonish. These are smoky and deep without being black.

The colors are very nice as is the smudger on the end, however, these smear and don't last more than a few hours if that. One of the colors I got was so waxy, it wouldn't even go on over my eyeshadow-it just sort of skipped around-very messy. $22 each is pricey for something that doesn't last. I've found similar pencils that last all day/night for half the price. Also be advised AGAINST ordering thru Dermastore. They are very particular with returns/refunds. Read their policy very carefully before ordering. It's not worth the hassle of returning and getting hit with a 20% restock fee on something if you are over 15 days. I would not order from this site again, they are difficult to deal with.

i've been using a product by Susan Posnick. it's like a roll-on eye shadow liner. love it because it doesn't drag my aging eyelid. but the purple has had production issues, and finally i've moved on, and tried this product. I love it. deep plum color. goes on super easy, and stays there. no pulling at my eyelid. now i've got to figure out if they have a dk green. UPDATE: I've ordered this several times in 2 colors. Lately, as the pencil gets shorter, upon sharpening it, the crayon falls out. the wood around it is too loose. And it continues to fall out over and over. I won't give up on it, cause i don't know of anything else like it. but what a pain.

I read the mixed reviews but decided to try it anyway. I admit, I fell for the advertising. Score one for Madison Avenue. For me, this was a total waste of money. The color is nice but the liner goes on messy and stays that way. I had smudging almost before I put the liner lid back on! The stick is too big for a regular sharpener so you must buy theirs or buy a large sharpener to get an approximation of a point. I would say the end result is more like a greasy eye shadow than an eye liner. Regret the purchase and cannot recommend the product.

I have purchased many Sue Devitt pencils in the past and came to Amazon after QVC no longer sold this product. I love the color--a deep golden bronze. I also love the chubbiness of the pencil, which allows for easier application.
