Veruccas are hardy so you need to be patient but it should work. **Q: How long will this take before it removes the warts?** A: It was used on my father in laws dog, took a few applications but has worked. Best not to wet the nib too much, will make the pencil last long enough to get rid of the wart. **Q: Is it a single use item or will one stick do multiple treatments?** A: One stick will probably equate to 4/5 applications - the end gets brittle after that and falls off. You might then need to order another. It’s an effective treatment. Beware of staining - furniture/surfaces etc nothing removes silver nitrate!!! (Black) make sure it’s fully dry. **Q: Can you use this for over granulation of ingrown toe nail. Regards** A: Yes - you can BUT beware of being over enthusiastic- could burn the over granulation(which is what you want) as well as new skin Little and often. Just a light touch. Also be aware that toes spend most of their life in socks/stocking so can sweat especially in trainers. Bare feet when you can. As a retired practice nurse I used caustic pencil a lot and it is effective.used with caution.Can I suggest you see the doctor first to have the ingrown toenail trimmed. He may not be a fan of caustic pencil BUT it does work.
