For the price, you can't beat this simple keyboard. Probably would be tough to tap the keys if you have big hot dog fingers, but for average sized fingers, it's perfect! Tested pairing with the PS3 and Apple TV. So far, it's been automatic pairing with the PS3, but not with the Apple TV - had to manually select it in the settings - no big deal, though - pairing process is quick (and this is probably how the Apple TV pairing functions). The case is cleverly made - Apple TV remote and keyboard fit quite nicely. Not having a keyboard back light didn't matter to me. The flashlight is kinda goofy, though - Have to press and hold to keep it on, but don't have much use for it. I like the feel of the soft keys, as well.

Plugged in and charged the remote first thing. Only took a few hours to charge. So far it appears to work fine. Very nice to be able to put the Apple Remote on the back, fits perfectly, however, the rubber case is a bit flimsy. Very nice to be able to type rather than search around with the Apple Remote. This is so much easier! But on the bad side it took a while for the Bluetooth to find it. Lousy instructions for how to get it to work with Apple TV 2 (there are instructions but really not a help with Apple TV). It finally found the Bluetooth signal after multiple tries (still do not know how it found it) and finally a number came up to enter to pair. Entered the number and it paired pretty quickly. Used it and worked fine. Since then I have unplugged and moved the Apple TV and it twice and it remained paired without having to re-pair (a great thing). I have not had time to evaluate the battery yet. I would give it 5 stars if the pairing issue was easier, but sometimes feel I was just lucky it finally found it. Otherwise I would overall say I would buy again, hope the battery works for a while.

It is VERY difficult to set up - read other reviews to figure out how since the instructions are worthless (Pick settings, general, BT (bluetooth) button) - when you set up you have to hold down each button for a long time. If I didn't have a tenacious young person in my house who was determined to get this set up - - it probably would be in the trash. Once the set up is in play - it is useful (though occasionally I still have to use the apply remote)Update: Purchased in early January - now it's mid January and it's already stopped functioning. Don't bother

This a great little keyboard. I only wish it had backlit keys. Unlike other keyboard/mouse combos on my Toshiba Encore 8" Windows tablet, this one plays well with my mouse at the same time.Since I dont have an apple tv, I just slipped the little silicon apple remote sleeve off and it works great as a little windows keyboard.The keys are a little mooshy, but they do give tactile feedback and with some practice you could type pretty quickly.I love that its a fully keyed keyboard, this little thing has the same keys that my daily keyboard has, plus a few...This keyboard did not come with a USB dongle, which is fine, since my tablet has bluetooth built in, but the information above is deceiving.Also, I dont think this model comes with a gyro mouse, I have not read anything in the manual on how to activate it and have yet to discover how. Not a problem for me, since I have a touch screen.It has a removable lithium ion battery, from what I saw in a review it is a standard battery for easy replacement. That will insure that the keyboard will last much longer, being able to replace worn out batteries.

So loved this idea, but the implementation is somewhat lacking. The keyboard itself seems to work so far, but the remote doesn't stay in the other side very well, despite the sticky strips that WERE in place. Not only is this a poor implementation of the idea in the first place, but the strips did not hold the remote in place for long. A matter of weeks, and the strips were no longer sticky. The remote KINDA still stays in place in the keyboard, thanks to a little "notch" thing at one end of where the remote goes in. Otherwise, I would be considering return this, and I would be giving it an even poorer rating. The remote does, however, fall out very easily.However, even if the sticky strips were still good, this could become a problem, as how then would you change the battery? You would have to take the remote out, thus disabling the sticky strips anyhow. This is a VERY poor, shortsighted design. Instead, they should use some sort of magnet, or maybe some kind of velcro. The magnet kinda thing would be best, though, I think, and it could even have a charging/power ability through induction(I think it would be REALLY neat if the keyboard's battery would somehow power the remote without an actual battery, using some form of connection by induction).

This is a great little remote I initially purchased for my new Apple TV box. The stock, silver remote, is very limited with it's command buttons, not allowing the user to key in wording, but only using the on screen menu key pad. This nifty little remote works via Bluetooth and is shaped like an iPhone complete with rubber case that even holds your stock remote on the opposing side of the case. The instructions included are worthless, but using your 'settings' icon through the Apple TV menu, and pressing the Bluetooth button on the remote, it's effortless. The remote holds a good charge with it's rechargeable battery with included cable. And the remote even has a nifty little LED light built in (probably good for finding your way to the restroom during a dark movie night!).

Came in a timely fashion. Sync'd well with my apple TV. Apple remote fits perfectly. On/off button works well because I only use on occasion, so I can easily leave it off and just use the regular apple remote. Keyboard works well. All around happy!

Good bit of kit, makes it a lot easier to search with keypad.

Works perfectly. Saves a lot of faffing about with the original ATV remote when searching library / Youtube etc. Battery life is surprisingly long, only need to recharge around twice a year. Do remember to switch it off when finished though.
