Very well made and good value.
For the relatively low price, I was pleasantly surprised by the well presented and solidly built rail. Attaches easily to both my camera and tripod, the movement is very positive and smooth. I have already taken several focus stacked images with great results. A good buy!

Great focus rail but if your camera is tilted it needs a bit of help
It's a great focus rail and can definitely take about 1kg but anymore than that and it needs help. By that I mean winding the knob so the camera moves closer to the subject is fine but when you have a reasonably heavy camera and lens on it (about 1.5kg in total weight) it won't move backwards, I had to hold the rail and push it backwards while winding it to give it a hand. It's good but for the money youre better off spending a bit more money and getting a focus rail from a top company such as Nisi, Leophoto etc...

Get Basic Slide Shots.
The media could not be loaded. I do a lot of macro photography and I have always carried around a large slider. However, with macro photography, this isn’t necessary. You are so close to your subject, the slightest movement is drastic. This is the perfect solution for that. The mechanics on it are well made and the thumbscrews work very smoothly and accurately. It's stable enough that the shutter itself does not cause enough movement to blur your image. The camera sits comfortably and rigidly on the slider. The issue is that this rail when used with high-magnification macro lenses results in a very short field of focus for images. This issue is further exacerbated when you add macro extension tubes to get even higher magnification. The result is the user needs to take a series of photos and merge them to get a useful depth of field. It would make an excellent small rail and a very useful and reliable tool.Although it is very compact, it has high rigidity and looks and feels good with a sense of precision and luxury. This is a much more expensive option as there are a few others on the market. But with that premium price comes a well-made piece of kit. I have high hopes for its longevity. The assembly of the screw drive mechanism is spot on with no backlash whatsoever. The movement is extremely smooth, something you would not expect in a product costing so little. When you look at the price of this compared to a high-end, small slider, it’s more affordable.I am using a Fujifilm camera with an accessory battery holder, weighing in at 3 lb 4 oz, which the macro focusing rail supported with no problem. I'm not sure how it would perform with a heavier camera/lens combo. However, It does appear to be able to hold and focus a heavier choice. I'm sure you can find many macro-focusing rails costing much more than this unit, but quality-wise, this is near the top.Overall a very compact and well-made slider. It offers smooth operation and I think the cost, although slightly high, is very worth it considering its premium nature. If you are after something that can offer more freedom to your macro Lens shoots, this is a great option. Highly recommend.Hope this review helps.

Very well made, easy to use.
The media could not be loaded. This is really well made and has excellent, smooth, precise movement control across 4 axis. I do a lot of product photography for a local business and I wonder how I have coped without this thus far! It easily mounted to my Manfrotto tripods and was very stable. I think this item is good value for money and good quality construction. It is easy to use, and although I can see a few fellow reviewers noted excessive lubrication on their items, I did not experience this personally.

For Precise Macro Photography
This is a very good quality 4 Way Macro Focusing Rail Slider and built like a tank this is probably the best quality product I have ever gotten from Neewer. If you want to get into Macro photography you can't go wrong with this, sliding on the X & Y axis is very smooth I will say tho when attaching to your tripod if the tripod has a long thread don't screw on too tight as this will affect the sliding on the X axis it took me a few minutes to work out why I was struggling to slide it even with the X axis locking knob fully released and it was due to me connecting it too tightly to my tripod. You can be extremely precise with the measurements on both axis so will make taking macro photos that much easier overall I am extremely happy with this.
