Painless Learning Educational Placemats Sets USA Map and World Map Non Slip Washable, Large

I love these for my kids, they learn as they eat. But over time the corners do split, which is why I am only giving them 4 stars. They are simple, laminated maps. I am on my second purchase, and would probably buy them a third time if these wear out.

I am disappointed with the mats when they arrived.I have ordered them before and really like them.The new mats came with a crease on both of the mats in one comer.The mats won't lay flat and the crease is annoying.Please send replacement mats as soon as you can!!!

Like many people, i like to read when i eat alone. I also like to learn do i bought these to help me as an adult, learn from. Love them! As an older adult, i use a magnifying glass to see the European countries

What I like most about these three maps I purchased is the extra information given on each. Each says it's a Lambert Azimuthal Equal-Area Projection, has a scale in kilometers and miles, has a rose compass, shows degrees in longitude and latitude, labels all major bodies of water, and even labels many islands with the country that "rules" it. I did expect a good seal, which they have, and they also have strong, shiny plastic coating, but it's very slippery. These maps are very educational, and I purchased them to refresh my memory of geography and to play some online geography games (Worldle and Globle). I had no idea these would be so in-depth! Turned out to be a very wise purchase!!

Bought several of these and will add the rest of the world. It's agood way to absorb geography. Makes an excellent present for kids.
