It Really Works!
This little thing works just as well as a box of baking soda for neutralizing odors in the refrigerator. It has a very pretty design and is small, so it takes up less space than a box of baking soda and looks nicer too, so you'll not want to place it at the back of the fridge. It's stainless steel, so no need to worry about spills getting a cardboard box wet, or torn. Plus, there's nothing inside that can be spilled, so you don't have to worry about cleaning up a mess if it happens to get knocked over. Lastly, this is supposed to last for 10 years, so no need to buy or remembering to replace baking soda every 30 days. Definitely ordering another one for the freezer.

So surprised! It works
It is so small but mighty little device. I put this in my stink frig (it needs to be cleaned out so perfect test time) I opened it this morning. Neutral, stink is gone

Intriguing but not so sure it can live up to the hype
I ordered this because I was intrigued by the design and whole odor elimination system. The container itself if very pretty and well-made. I was hoping that it could be opened so the contents could be changed in the event it did not live up to it's 10-year hype. There appears to be no way of opening it, so if you thought you could use it for something other than it's current use, sadly you can't.You can kind of see through the metal mesh that there is a small bag filled with the odor eliminating particle inside the container. The filigree design is lovely but the holes are so tiny, I wonder how this can absorb odors in a whole refrigerator. There is not that much volume of material in this container and where does the odor go? With a box of baking soda, you have a larger mass of exposed baking soda to absorb, and it has to be changed periodically because it stops working. Baking soda works on a scientific level, it's not just an old wives tale, so I'm now really curious what this magical charcoal is that out performs baking soda for years.

Pretty design, fits in nearly any space...
I have a new refrigerator that unfortunately picked up a mild odor that I'd rather not have. I prefer to deodorize without artificial scents and chemicals so this baking soda and activated charcoal deodorizer was up my alley. It arrived very well packaged and looking nice and shiny. I loved the design in the metal, floral and butterflies in mine. It is lightweight, small, and will fit in nearly any space. I put it in the fridge and, though it hasn't completely removed the smell, it has improved it noticeably. I do wish it had made more of a dramatic difference but I am quite pleased with it's appearance and the fact that I am not relying on harsh chemicals or artificial perfumes that do nothing at all. So, would I pick up another one of these deodorizers? I think so...

Stylish deodorizer, *not* quick acting
My refrigerator was left with a foul smell, which I traced to some old chicken breast lurking where it did not belong. I tested this out instead of throwing in a box of baking soda as I would usually. Although the product description indicates this deodorizer is a "12-hour quick odor elimination beyond baking soda," it took ≈3 days for the smell to start to dissipate. From past experience, a box of baking soda would have been quicker by far. It would also be cheaper in comparison to this product's price. If I had confidence that this product would be long lasting, it *might* be worth it, but I highly doubt it given the length of time it took for any noticeable results. Save yourself some time and find something else.
