It kind of works but mostly its just 'okay'
I might have to leave an updated review in the future in case anything changes, but for now its just 3 solid stars. That doesn't mean that I regret buying it, quite the contrary. It just means that I wish it were stronger and more effective. Look, I get it...they have to be careful not to create a product that harms dogs and leaves themselves liable in case some knucklehead dog owner doesn't use it properly and then tries to hold them responsible (why take accountability in reading instructions when you can simply blame someone else? welcome to America!!!)PROs:-It definitely made my dog wince a bit each time I sprayed it on his leash and even when I sprayed a little bit into his mouth. YES, you CAN spray into his mouth... that is EXACTLY what dog trainers recommend. They tell you to spray a little bit into your dog's mouth so he understands that it tastes terrible, and then your dog needs to see you spraying it on the leash or area you want him to stop chewing. That way he will put two and two together and associate the horrible experience in his mouth with the area he should avoid. Ideally that will lead him to NOT chew on that area! (if only the world were that easy)- The bottle is pretty big. Much more solution then I expected!- The stuff does actually work a little bit...it made my dog take notice (but he did still bite on the leash while we trained him to get used to the new invisible dog fence we installed)CONs- not too many cons other than it needs to be a little more stronger for bigger dogs like my larger black lab. (maybe offer TWO versions? one for smaller dogs and one for bigger??? who knows)- its going to take repetition and practice to make this work. Dogs are stubborn and resilient...two characteristics that help them survive but also super frustrating to work with. You MUST make this process a daily routine to change your dog's behavior. If you think this is just something where you can just spray a ton of it on an area and be done with it then you should not buy this. If your dog is chewing on something its a behavior that needs to stop and this is just one of the tools to help you in changing his behavior through repetition to instill a more desired behavior. (channeling my inner Cesar Milan here but its true)Hope this helps. Again, not a bad product at all. Just not yet deserving of more stars at this point...but I will edit if anything changes. PS. I actually caught a bunch of this in my own mouth while spraying it in the wind. WARNING: DON'T spray it in the wind!!! It tastes effing HORRIBLE!!!! So if you are trying to train a human...this is MORE than strong enough.

Works as advertised! No more chewing!
I have a 1.5yr old French Bulldog that gets bored and chews furniture corners, walls, and anything soft that can fit in his mouth. Instead of buying him more toys that he quickly gets bored of, I purchased this spray and it works very well! It has an earthy, woody, eucalyptus scent and once I've sprayed it on the corners he's chewed previously, he does not chew them again!I was anxious about bringing my pup to my friend's house for a sleepover without his bulky crate, fearing he might chew her walls and furniture while we were sleeping. I brought this spray instead and applied it to areas I thought he would chew. As expected, he did not chew the walls or wooden furniture where the spray was applied, but he did chomp on some cardboard boxes and paper shopping bags that did not get sprayed. Based on that, I'd say this works very well!Although this is natural, there is a scent that may irritate human noses when sprayed in a small room. I'd suggest venting a window or turning on a fan after spraying and before letting your dog in so the room is aired out and your nose and throat does not get irritated! Will definitely purchase more when this runs out.

SUPER strong!! ππ
This protected all the places where I sprayed it, but boy it smells! I didn't think it would be bad because it says "all natural" right on the bottle. But whenever I spray it, the room wills with an overly "natural" kind of chemical smell. It literally gets in my nose and I can FEEL it in my nostrils. It also somehow leaks on your hands just enough so that if you eat anything else with your hands for the next hour, you will taste nothing but this haunting flavor. It's hard to describe, really, so you'll just have to buy it if you want to feel the pain of this odd liquid. And I'm not even joking when I say that this spray fills the room for up to ten minutes, leeching off any victim that happens to step in the room during that period. I just hope my two Golden Retriever puppies hate it as much as me π€·ββοΈ

This really works!
My dog is a rescue (no real background known) and was about to be euthanized when I said I would take her. She is a 95lb pit bull who was used for breeding purposes. Ears and tail not altered. However, she has allergies that affect her in so many ways, and with a special diet, they are all under control. The one thing that I've not been able to fix has been the licking of her feet. I'm guessing this began as a self soothing activity in her early days due to stress and possibly the untreated allergies. She has been prescribed so many medications to treat the yeast or fungus infections between her toes that I've lost count. Even though the condition would be healed, the licking continued, thus causing wet feet and toes and more infection. That is until now! This spray really really works! I followed the directions and sprayed a bit into her mouth before treating her feet and legs. Wow! What a face! Once all four feet were sprayed I waited to see if the licking would happen again. Miracles or miracles it did not! The yeast infection between her toes is gone, the licking has ceased and I am so happy and relieved. There is a smell often described as kind of a Fritos smell from the infection and it would get very strong. That is also a thing of the past. This product really does work. Even though it obviously has a horrible taste, the smell is very nice. It has a fresh scent, not heavy, but very pleasant. It isn't oily or greasy and doesn't leave residue or stains if you get it on your floor. I apply it a couple of times a day and then at bedtime and it doesn't take much. Just a few pumps on each foot. As for value for money, it's an 8oz bottle which looks as though it will last quite a while. One bottle of this is less than the medications to take care of preventing yeasty feet each month, not to mention the relief both my dog and myself get from no more discomfort.Dogs lick their feet and paws for many reasons so please get a diagnosis from your vet first as to why they're doing it.
