I am attaching a picture of an example. You will want to experiment with the erasers to get a good feel. Use some padding (paper) under your booklet or paper, make sure you are not on a textured surface. I used the eraser at various angles such as horizontally, vertically and diagonally. Once the ink is off I use the white eraser last. These are great erasers and do exactly as stated. They will also take off topical stains that are not soaked through to the other side. If you are using this around printed material, be careful as it will erase that ink as well. This booklet was copyright 1987, so the ink has probably been on this booklet for several decades. I was hoping to erase some ink left in some hardcover books I purchased used - but no luck at all. I gently erased with no ink removal and then I erased vigorously to see if I could get any ink removal. The vigorous erase barely removed any ink at all. It seemed like the only way to remove the ink at all was to basically erase the entire paper the ink was on. Disappointed because I really wanted this to work.

Just be gentle and patient with erasing the ink, using short strokes. I had written a date in ink on a form, but realized it was incorrect. I did not want to use White-Out, so looked for an ink eraser. This sand and rubber particle eraser worked really well.

This is amazing. Right away made a mistake with my ink pen, and the eraser did the job. Love them.

It really depends on the ink pen and type of paper used. It did erase the ink, but you could tell something had been erased. I would prefer not being able to tell that something was erased.

Im very satisfied with this product! I was able to erase the ink on an important paper that was supposed to be pencil only.

The paper layer is peeled off as one tries to erase the ink marks. Only on high quality and high thickness paper, it works well. It does not work well on thin papers like notebooks and A4 size print quality papers.
