I make a lot of skirts and always prefer this elastic, holds it’s shape, soft on the skin, latex free, worth the extra money.

This elastic is excellent for waistbands. I have used it multiple times now and have been very pleased with the results. It holds its shape with multiple washings.

Like this particular width for elasticizing jean and pant waistbands. I've lost weight in the past 4 months so many of my pants are simply falling off me. Needed to come up with a money saving way to utilize my existing clothes and this does it nicely. The soft texture is comfortable against my skin as well. Durably made and fills the bill for my needs. Will certainly buy again.

2 stars given, as it's not suitable for a casing elastic. Diameter used, 1.5" for a elastic back skirt. Granted, pattern fabric was ample. Structure of the soft elastic, couldn't take the stress. It buckled andlimped, as soon as it was stretched. Why I chose the elastic? The pattern company, had it on their materials sheet as a good choice.
