Perfect fix
Went above my expectations. My nail is badly split and kept catching. This will definitely help whilst it grows out. Very impressed

Easy to use, looks and feels good without the need to visit a nail bar. Great product...
Purchased after I managed to tear my nail ( very vulnerable to catching and ripping further) whilst cleaning some shelves, my nails are very soft and frequently get ragged which is also my āāHebbie jeebie thingā I literally canāt stand it and have often been forced to nibble The ends to get a smoother finish if a file is not to hand. These wraps are brilliant and easy to apply and the overall finish is amazing , I followed the instructions as described and the nail dressing survived 4-5 days, I think that it only started lifting after prolonged water contact and really lifted off without any need to use acetone, a strange and satisfying experience. I had to reapply a further three times before my nail was in a position to be trimmed without pain albeit it was shorter than I would have preferred. I am happy to endorse this product as it is a very useful application to have for emergencies.Only one tip: make sure you have a well ventilated area as the activation spray is pretty potent, I followed instructions and still managed to experience The acrid aftermath but still rate this product 10/10 , a wee bit pricey but well worth the cost and the enclosed wrap will easily sort out the nail dilemma/drama.. it looks like you donāt get very much tape ( a few inches) but you donāt actually use very much if you cut it to size carefully. I considered using on all my nails to give strength but I resisted and will only apply it when needed for a rescue application. Never had a salon treatment on my nails but can vouch that this gives a great finish and I reckon it would be even nicer with a coloured polish applied. Excellent stuff....

Great kit if only the resin brushes lasted longer than just 5 fingers!
The instructions included arenāt that good, so you need to watch some videos. YouTube is helpful for that. After a messy left hand, I got the idea and produced much better results on my right hand.Wherever the instructions tell you to allow the resin to air dry, they fail to tell yo roughly how long to wait. And my good friend Google failed to provide any information on this.Worst of all, the brush that comes with the 8 gram resin bottle turns into a rock-hard, useless lump after 5 fingers, and well before that it becomes somewhat unwieldy. This despite wishing in isopropyl intermittently and fastening the bottle tight between applications. The trial pack on Amazon is more expensive than on The Edge Nails website. However, Amazon gives free shipping, whereas the company website charges Ā£3.95 unless you spend over Ā£35.00.The wrap strip included will run out way before the resin and the activator. As someone with chronic weak nails, this stuff is amazing, and Iād give 5 stars if not for the lacks mentioned. Finally, buying each component separately works out more cost effective than buying the trial set,

Strong stuff!!
Yes this is fiddly to use, thereās no doubt - but if you rope in a friend or your other half it makes it a lot easier! I cut my silk before I actually started the process of putting the resin on and I think itās the best way - I donāt know why others have complained about the instructions, I found them easy to follow, did two nails: a thumb with a reoccurring vertical split and the index finger of the other hand that was broken half way across and was too short to cut off - also did a bad vertical split on my husbands left thumbnail - all I can say is itās brilliant - quickly painted my nails afterwards, but to be honest after youāve filed and buffed them they just look like your natural nail - canāt comment on how long they last, because Iāve literally just used it!! But for a quick fix on a broken nail, or to add some length to a nail that has snapped off itās perfect, just donāt try and make them too long, because youāll compromise the strength - Iām very happy with my result - excuse my nail varnishing, it needs another coat and a tidy up, then Iām good to go !! š

Half Product For Full Money!
The Activator Spray had leaked and looled like it had for some time it was all stained yellow but no wetness in the bag ir on other items which suggest it had leaked prior to being delivered. As a result it was only just over half way full. Needed to use as my nail had ripped and badly needed to repair it as was going to a wedding the next day. Was not happy and would of returned had I not urgently needed to use it. Pretty poor as its a starter kit so all products are a small size to begin with. Additionally poor then for it to have been taken from stock in that state. Clear plastic so anyone packing it could have seen lile I did as soon as I opened it.

Works really well on split nails
Originally I thought I needed to abandon using this as it pulls my nails up from the beds, I've got really weak nail beds so anything like gels, stick on nails, or semi cured wraps, pull my nails flat and then ultimately lifts them from their beds which is horrible and sore. That's an issue specific to very weak nails. But I've found if I only use across the actual rips in my nails and dont cover the whole nail it's fine. Added photos of how I have successfully used the silk and resin just over the torn edge. Doesn't look pretty but saves the pain of snagging it constantly when it's torn in a place too far down into the bed to be able to cut off.As for people's comments that the brush is unusable, just put the brush back in the bottle once it gets hard and weird, it's only air that's made it react like that, it'll go back to normal after a while of being back in the bottle. I did see it go clumpy and stiff like other reviews mentioned, but the next day after being back in the sealed bottle overnight it was fine again.I wouldn't use across the whole nail like some people use to extend their nails, I really think that's a job for a nail technician, but this is really good for repairing rips that are too big for superglue or something. You should note that the silk isn't transparent, you can definitely see that it's on there.
