Sturdy quality build that can survive multiple kids
Great product. The build quality is solid and holds up well. We have 4 children with 2 teenagers and they can be hard on products. We've had the product for a little over a week and they just love building different designs. The first night we had the product, they got so overwhelmed with the number of design options they could build that they just built a large rectangle that they could all fit in. Since they, they have built various designs and have been building more interesting designs. Make a Fort even has designs you can get from their website if you need a little help or just are looking for some designs to get you started. This is one of the better kids products I have used. It's sturdy and the connectors are made of a heavy dense foam that help hold the pieces together.

Withstood the test of time
We ordered 3 of these Minecraft build a fort sets for our kids for Christmas 3 years ago. They LOVE them! They still set up forts with these constantly and they're still in perfect shape. Not sure why they're a "frequently returned item" What you see is what you get. Although they're quite pricey, they've been worth it in our opinion.

Great gift for 11 year old
I bought this for my grandsons 11th birthday because when I was young, I loved building forts. I would build mine out of blankets and TV trays. When I saw this, I was intrigued and knowing that he loves Minecraft and building things…I knew he would enjoy it. He was thrilled when he opened his gift. He started to build it right away, but decided to call one of his friends to come over and help him. Building the fort was a great activity and a lot of fun for the boys but you really need two people as the pieces are large. My grandson’s exact comment was “ This is really cool and I really like it but you need a friend to help build it because the pieces are big.” He likes that he has flexibility in the design and stated that he will definitely build it again. However, next time he will find a better area to build the Fort because his mom made him take it down too soon.

These are very cool, and very frustrating
Santa brought these for our son 2 years ago and we have a lot of experience with them by now. They are really awesome and the minecraft style always gets our son and his friends excited to build their own minecraft base in real life. But dang they don't stay together as well as you want, and once one area begins to tilt, the whole dang thing gets moving crooked and before you know it you've spent an hour trying to sure up the corners and sides, just to watch it all collapse. Every time the kids get these out they need adult assistance, and the forts don't last due to it being so hard to keep it all upright. I really hope they find a better solution to connect it all, because that's the weak point of the whole thing. We still use them though!

If one kit is good…
Great! Second kit for my Grandson! He loves them!

Kids love it.
Cardboard is very sturdy. Seven year old could insert the connectors, but it would be difficult for younger children. It’s expensive for what you get. I doubt it will last long with continued use.

Great idea cheap material
Great idea but it’s just cardboard that bends very easily after the first build. For the price I figured it would be a stronger material not just regular cardboard. Not worth the money

Great addition for a classroom!
I got two kits for my second grade class last year and they were a HUGE hit! I just ordered three more kits for our first grade classes and they LOVE them! The pieces are sturdy and strong - they will last for many years. The box is also sturdy and the pieces fit inside so nicely. It has a carrying handle and is a reasonable size to store - it would even fit under a bed. The kids love working together to create all kids of structures using their imagination and do not need any assistance to put the pieces together. I highly recommend this product!
