ESP Wrover Kit

Received the dev kit in a small box with Espressif logo on it, delivered in less than a week even though it was to France.The kit was nicely bubble-wrapped, and it was fully functional on first use.I tried the few demos available on the github repositories (doom, nes emulator, IOTuz) and after a bit of fiddling with the code it works like a charm.

If you want to develop for the ESP32 this is a must.You can debug in it without any addition.

I purchased this board to help me with my ESP32 development and if your into ESP32 development, then this is the board for you, it has an ST7789 display, micro-SD card drive, 3-colour LED and a host of other goodies. I like it because it's a nice integrated package and by the time I purchased quite a large LCD and ESP32 and SD card etc it would come to about the same price, but the hybrid approach would never be as neat as this unit. Espressif have provided various examples and LCD driver although the Adafruit_ILI9341 works OK. I'm using the Arduino IDE with ESP32 extensions, you must select programming at 40MHz. There is no documentation supplied you need to visit the esp32 resources site at Espressif.
