This was the first time I've tried knitting with looms. The ease of it is wonderful. I have found so many free cute patterns online that I can't knit them fast enough to try the next one. Depending on the intricacy of the pattern, an adult hat usually takes me probably 6 - 10 hours to knit at a leisurely pace. Through some trial and error, I have found the the bulkier yarn works much better for the gauge of these looms. Doubling up on regular yarn gives good results too. I'm excited in trying other projects on them, but only have only done hats so far.Because I like knitting on these looms so much, I decided to get another large loom, only I got one with an even 40 pegs instead of the 41 peg large one in this set. I was able to compare some differences in the two styles. The pegs in this set are not removable, which I like since there are not any accidents of them coming off during a project. The pegs on these also have a round knob end, instead of a hooked, crotchet like tip. Either works fine for me, but I noticed working with the hooked tip on my other loom, the stitches remained secure until I was ready to knit them off. I had some trouble with them accidentally slipping off on these. The loom pick that came with this serves its purpose adequately but the rubber grip had a tendency to start to slip off the pick. The pick I got with the other loom didn't have this problem. It's not something that would actually cause any problems, it is just noticeable when I would have to press the grip back down onto the metal part a few times during a project.I am very happy with this purchase. I love crafting and this has given me something new to add to my ever growing list of crafty hobbies I enjoy.

I used to knit years ago and wanted to get my 8 year old started. I tried teaching her with the traditional knitting needles but her hands are just not big enough or agile enough to control them. I ordered these looms and on the first day she knitted a stocking hat almost completly by herself, with just a little guidance from me in a very short period of time. All I really needed to do was cast on the first row and she could do the rest, then I finished it off for her. It went very fast, was easy for her to handle, and the end result was better then I could have done by hand (did I mention I used to knit years ago? I am very rusty:). I may start using these as well becuase of the ease and speed. Right now we only know how to do the basic stitch, but there are videos online that show other techniques and patterns which I am sure we will get into. We are planning on making leg warmers next, which should be just as easy and quick. I would highly recommend these to anyone with kids, or beginning knitters, or anyone that wants to make quick work of a knitting project. We also purchased the other looms from this company so that we can make blankets, and other items. We havent tried those yet but we should see similar results since they are the same basic concept just a different shape. They are all well built and sturdy, and should last a very long time.

I bought these and a higher priced loom set thinking these wouldn't be made good and I ended up returning the expensive ones and keeping these. They have been great. Came with everything I needed. The only two gripes I have are: 1) the instructions are not great. The other sets instructions were better and I don't think I would have been able to learn how to use the loom without the better instructions. 2) I think the loom sizes are a little off. The smallest size I don't think would even fit a preemie. Maybe a doll? The second smallest size was too small for my one year old son. And I did not try the next size up but I would think the next size would be too big for him. Maybe if I tried a different type of yarn it would stretch to fit him better. I think they should have made the sizing more to fit infant, toddler, child and adult. I know my head size falls under the large child/small adult size so I am not sure which one I would use for myself.Anyways, with that aside, the looms seem very well constructed for the price and I am not worried about the pegs breaking any time soon since I do pull on them pretty tight when I pick the loops over and they did not budge. I packed them in my bag for a weekend away and they did not break or loosen up. I am very happy with this loom set and I do think they stand up to the more expensive brands as I do have a set of the loom looms by knit quick and they are great also. Overall I would buy again for the price, they are a great set if they would make each loom a little bigger.

I was really surprised at the quality of this item. I expected the plastic to be flimsy and the pegs to break easily. Not so! This item is made of thick durable plastic but not really heavy at all and the pegs are the same, durable and will not break easily. I already made two hats...so easily. There are lots of You Tube videos too showing many different things you can make. I'm looking forward to learning more. One thing to note, I did find the orange size to be more appropriate for adult hats AND for most kids of the mid to upper elementary ages. For some reason, when I made my first one on the green for my 8 yr old, it was really too tight...and he doesn't have a large head...just average. The orange was a perfect fit for him. That makes me wonder if the Pink would be more appropriate for the average adult or male adult.In any case, this is a durable set, even the hook. Do yourself a favor though, purchase a metal darning needle. I knit with regular needles and circular needles and these plastic darning needles are cheap and break way too easily. I have some metal ones by HiyaHiya that I love. They are slightly curved and it makes "sewing" or tucking in ends easy.

Great quality. The plastic material is strong, sturdy, and difficult to break.Product easy to use for any age, the start of many fun diy knitting projects. Greatly speeds up the knitting process. Complete an entire scarf in less than a day, knit hats hassle free. Definitely beginner friendly. The package came with clear instructions to knit your own hat, and I found many helpful YouTube videos. It also comes with 4 loom knit rings varying in sizes, a jumbo sized needle, and a pick.Bought one for myself and for my mother as a gift and we both love them. Great value for the money.

Me gusto mucho. No encontraba en particular el aro más grande, de 41 postes, en ninguna tienda de la ciudad de México. Era el único que necesitaba , pero este set con los otros más pequeños es útil para tener calcetas, guantes y gorros.Mi paquete llegó incluso antes de lo previsto.

Il kit è arrivato con grande puntualità (era una spedizione Prime, meno di 24 ore dall'ordine!). I telai sono in plastica robusta, il kit è contenuto in una pratica valigetta plastificata e include un ago da lana e un gancio. Le istruzioni sono in inglese (corredate da fotografie esemplificative), spagnolo e francese; si trovano comunque tanti tutorial online. Non ho ancora iniziato a dedicarmi a questa nuova attività ma i telai in sé mi hanno già conquistato!

Great product. Sturdy and very easy to use. After using this, my DIY loom feels cumbersome. It also comes with its own set of instructions for making a knitted beanie, if anyone wants to learn from scratch. I'd definitely recommend this over cheaper versions which are prone to breakage and will ultimately cost you more.
