All In One Player Bluetooth in + Out
This is an Update to our Dec 11 2023 Three-Star Review that was based on the fact that the LoopTone Factory Quality Assurance let a product go out that had a non-functional CD Tray. [We also did not like the phonograph needle-arm raise-lower lever operation that was loose and did nothing for 90% of the leverโs travel.] Amazon was great in that I was able to get a replacement in a few days with no more hassle other than having to repackage and get the defective one to UPS. The CD Tray functioned on the replacement unit. This was the only combination/all-in-one player we could find that has Bluetooth In [LoopTone can Receive and Play Audio from other Bluetooth devices like a Smart-Phone] AND Out [LoopTone can Transmit Audio from the selected LoopTone source to Bluetooth speakers or headphones]. It replaces [to the extent it can] a wonderful 7-year-old TEAC LP-R Series All-In-One Player whose CD Tray mechanism went bad. We chose this LoopTone model because, given the small built-in speakers of unknown wattage, we would be able to integrate Bluetooth 'nearly-wireless' speakers if we wanted. A Note on โQualityโ: The Chinese-built quality made us hesitant to buy it. As this is the only All-In-One that has the Bluetooth In And Out functionality, we went with it, having set our expectations accordingly. The first one we received had the CD Tray and Phonograph Lift-Arm Lever problems, and as soon as we tried the Phonograph on the replacement unit, there was a noticeable grinding sound when the turntable rotated. We were ready to go through the repackage and return hassle again, but being desperate to avoid that, we โstudiedโ the problem for a few minutes and ended up โresolvingโ it by applying a โbendingโ force to the chrome spindle in a direction that moved the rotating turntable away from the plastic turntable housing that it was โrubbingโ against. Manufacturing is outsourced to China because it saves a few bucks, so we are stuck with that for the foreseeable future. End Note. The LoopTone is surprisingly light and small - I am surmising that the small side-facing speakers and bare-bones Tape functionality allow for the shrinkage. Despite the small speakers, the sound quality and volume sound fine to our non-audiophile ears. All the features that we tested functioned as expected. [The phonograph needle-arm lift-lever is not as loose, and the lever lifts after only 50% of โno-liftโ travel instead of 90% on the initial unit.]. We did not test the USB, SD Card, Auxiliary Input, Headphone Input, Bluetooth In/Receive, Line Output to wired speakers, or any Recording operations [this thing does a lot!]. As expected, the Tape Player lacked the rewind capability we had in our TEAC, but the playback audio was fine. The Phono, CD Player, Tuner, and Tape all produced fine sound, and all the features worked as expected. [We also only tested the 33-1/3 Revolutions Per Minute Phonograph speed.]. We arenโt fond of the slider-switch control design that selects the various โmodesโ like Phono, CD, Radio, and so forth. In addition to being kind of hard to see, I have to wonder how many cycles of mechanically moving these back and forth it will take before a failure happens. Our old TEAC and other All-In-One units use push buttons to make these selections. Note that the LoopTone Volume and Tuner knobs are not motor driven, so the Remote can not control them. The Remote only controls the CD Player electronic features like Track Changing, Stop/Start Play. It also controls some other Electronic features associated with the USB and SD Card. It works [it's definitely not a toy!], but keep your expectations low and Read The Manual. LoopTone Bluetooth Out: We purchased a pair of tiny and pretty amazing Total Wireless Stereo [TWS] capable speakers from NotABrick, and the LoopTone Bluetooth Paired with them seamlessly [Read The Manual] via a simple button push on the LoopTone, and the Bluetooth speakers provide great spatially-separated Stereo with noticeably more Bass than the LoopTone speakers. The only downside to the setup is that the LoopTone Volume Control does not control the Bluetooth NotABrick speaker volume; you have to use the Volume Control buttons on either of the speakers. So, all-in-all, and despite an initial rough patch, our short-term review is a five-star. We would take a fraction of that off due to our less than stellar confidence in the manufacturing QA, but decided to not give it a four-star because other than the Tape functionality, it has a very robust combination of pretty well-designed features including the not-to-be-found-elsewhere Bluetooth functionality. If you donโt mind โMade In Chinaโ hit-and-miss quality [Amazon helps to make up for this] and are looking for a good Bluetooth In AND Out enabled All-In-One player with decent perfectly serviceable sound quality, this LoopTone model is your best bet at this date.

Amazing quality for the price!
I decided to go with this brand and model because the space I have available isn't very big, and this works perfectly. Super good sound from a great little record player - amazing quality for the price! Everything is working beautifully. It's super easy to switch between tape and cd and vinyl and bluetooth, which was something that was important to me. I love how compact it is while being versatile, and it's a good color, too. I didn't realize I could make mp3s with it, so that's a huge bonus.

Decent unit for the price.
Decent unit for the price. If you want a great sound this probably isn't the unit for you but for me, someone who is rebuilding my record collection and doesn't need the best this works just fine. Good sound, easy to use.

Great personal upgrade!
I recently purchased this Vynil Player, and it has quickly become the centerpiece of my home audio setup. This 10-in-1 Bluetooth in/Out Record Player is truly a versatile marvel that blends vintage aesthetics with modern functionality. First off, the design is absolutely stunning. The vintage turntable look adds a touch of nostalgia, while the modern features make it incredibly practical. It plays vinyl records with impeccable sound quality, thanks to its three-speed options. Whether I'm spinning my old LPs or newer records, the sound is always crisp and clear. The built-in CD player and cassette deck are fantastic additions, allowing me to enjoy my entire music collection without needing multiple devices. The AM/FM radio works flawlessly, and the reception is excellent, which is not something you find in many modern players. The Bluetooth capability is a game-changer. Itโs incredibly easy to connect my phone or tablet, and the sound through the built-in speakers is robust and full. Plus, the option to record directly to USB or SD card is a fantastic feature for preserving my favorite tracks digitally. The AUX-in and RCA line-out options provide great flexibility for connecting external speakers or other audio devices, enhancing the listening experience even further. Overall, the Vynil Player is a comprehensive, high-quality product that caters to all my audio needs. Itโs perfect for anyone who loves music and values both style and substance. Highly recommend!

Quality not as I would have expected for the money
Very small plastic function knows in the mono player. Came with Canadian plug. I had to purchase an adapter in order to plug into the mains. Extremely light and disappointed in the quality of the product for the price.

Not bad for the price!
The phono, CD, tape and Bluetooth works well and sound great *with external speakers*. I bought this because my 35 year old component stereo cassette, CD and phono don't work properly anymore. So I plugged this into the amplifier's CD input and it sounds great through the old amp and speakers. pro: * cheap * compact - but you can close the lid while playing a 12" even though it sticks out a bit * simple to operate * sounds great with external speakers - either wired or Bluetooth. * easy to play from phone over Bluetooth - turns my 35 year old amplifier into a Bluetooth speaker! * ripping LPs and tapes, one side at a time, to SD card or USB stick is simple. * the manual is pretty complete con: * speakers lack bass, but it works well enough and is loud enough in a small apartment. * tape has no rewind! have to flip the tape a fast forward?! If this is important to you, check out one of the other Looptone 9-in-1 stereos * Bluetooth input - occasionally have to *unplug* the unit to turn if off. It gets stuck such that even turning off the power switch doesn't turn the unit off?! Not a big problem, just really strange :D
