Worked fine to replace the mechanism of an old pepper grinder. I had to use just the mechanism parts that were fully compatible except for the knob of the top that the thread wasn't the same kind, so I use the original one, sadly the new one was better looking.

needed just the center rod to replace an old rod that had no screw threads left to attach the knurl knob on the top. This kit had extra rods, so I fixed the old mill and still have parts to make another and give it as a gift - 2 for 1

Like this kit. Not too difficult to work with for someone with reasonable skill who can follow directions. The mechanism works very well, grinding the pepper in a very consistent size.

Quick ship, good quality. Would have rated 5 stars except the directions that came with it are very confusing. Youtube has some good help videos

Great product. Only used some parts to replace some that broke in a store bought pepper mill. This was significantly better.
