I have had a thing with paper for years and don't remember when I didn't know that what folks call "parchment" these days, isn't. Only real parchment I ever saw was out of reach in some museum. But I'm teaching a history class these days and decided to go looking for some. It was hard to find because the searches kept turning up parchment-colored paper. I got a pack of scraps and messaged the seller to ask how to store it from year to year (in a file drawer in a ziplock bag is good!) and she responded very quickly. And then included quite a variety for me--which was just what I was wanting, so the kids could see the edges of it. The kids LOVED it. Of course, they had never seen any that they could touch either. Got some papyrus from another place and there ya go! Handmade papers abound (mostly in large packages) and in such variety, I didn't bother getting those. Our lesson on paper was a hit!

Received early and thicker vellum

Quick to ship/arrive and exactly what I needed for pendant lamps my dad made back in the 50s. Ordered more for other projects. I tried several other products before finding just the right thing. No doubt I'll order more in the future.
