So the 1st pic is right after it was put together & due to the lighting, u can't see the details but u can see that its a nice size..the 2 and pic shows the details better but overlook the doors(my teenage boys put it together).. It wasn't hard for them to build but I didn't notice the doors until afterwards so I left it along(they were so proud)..it really does look like the amazon pic..its a dark black & very sturdy.. It has plenty of room for storages.. Even the drawers are a nice size..my wedding cake display fits perfectly. I ordered a 2nd one for my foyer..waiting for it to arrive now..

This was the prefect size buffet cabinet to create my dining room coffee bar. There is plenty of storage in the drawers and cabinets. I love it!

almost did not buy it... because of the reviews.i'm a girl... an unwell person. i have a progressive illness that is taking my body a month at a time. im losing ability in my hands to hold on to things and my legs to stand and in my torso to bend without puking. so you get the picture. if its too difficult im not doing it. im not a tomboy or one that was good with men tools, in fact i name my tool drawer 'guy stuff' becuase i always stayed away.impatient i saw the box in the rain, decided to drag it in, hardest thing ever it was so heavy and i kept falling over getting it in. it was either that or the rain would have damaged it.I chipped away at the soaked box to see if it would be okay still and they wrapped it so amazing nothing was wet but the soaking box.I also hate cheap stuff. almost half of what i get off amazon goes right back lately its all rubbish lately.NOT THIS!I wanted to know if the people saying it was difficult to put together was reality. one step at a time i did the drawers decided to go to bed, but i had so much fun i went back and put it together. took about 4 hours and thats because i kept having to redo steps for not paying attention. otherwise it was an accomplishment. its super heavy and seemingly great furniture.BIGGEST COMPLAINT.... hardware was super cheap and kept breaking but there were extras and no one sees it. for less than $200 this was a great buy and i recommend it.

If you follow directions step by step it comes together. I put it together by myself. The 4 stars vs 5 is because adjusting the doors is time consuming and mentally draining. I am not a fan of gold knobs they look like little shiny beacons on the black background to me. I've ordered flat black knobs to match cabinet. Labeling was good. Parts were all good. Packed extremely well. Seems very sturdy. Drawers fit and slide nicely. Box is heavy. Follow up. Attached pic with darker knobs and gold ones from cabinet side by side. Still have not gotten back to adjusting the doors. Doors bad adjustment are less noticeable with darker knobs.

I love this piece. I downsized to a very small place. I didn’t have enough counter space or places to put things. This looks great a is such a helpful item. I’d definitely buy it again

There is a lot to assemble but the cabinet and fittings seem well made.And, the result is very sturdy cabinet.And they sent a few extra pieces of some screws and fittings.I wish the drawers had full ball-bearing slides so they could extend further outbut I knew the kind of slides it had when I bought it.And, the drawers are very sturdy and slide smoothly in and out.The assembly instructions are pretty thorough although it took a while tofigure out some of the drawings. Where it is very easy to go wrong, theyprovide drawings of right and wrong ways. Pay close attention.That's where you sometimes have to ponder "what is significantlydifferent in the 2 drawings".I made a couple mistakes. Good thing is you can just disassemble and fix it.But try to play close attention as you go.I assembled it by myself with little physical difficulty.I used the full-size foam packing slabs to protect the cabinet and floor.There was one area I was not comfortable with how they said to do it.It has to do with installing the first parts of the back of the cabinet.They show just attaching the #14 pieces to the center divider and leavingthem hanging unsupported elsewhere.Past experience said that was not a good idea for ME.So, I got some boxes to prop them up so I could not do something thatresulted in me somehow breaking them off.We got the white one with rustic top.I think I might have liked the all-rustic one better for where we have itbut the head of the household said ix-nay on rustic and I did not want a black top.

Assembly was a bit difficult and it took longer than expected. A lot of extra pieces. But it turned out as pictured and very sturdy.
