Easy Setup
I came to write a review because I had read a previous review that said the setup was difficult. I was able to set this up in less than 10 minutes. It even comes with a screwdriver which I didn’t know. All it takes is 8 screws. The item itself is durable and sturdy, made of great quality. Highly recommend. Great value for the price of item.

Ideal Anti-Theft Mount for Nest Doorbell
For other slow learners like me: My doorbell worked fine until I decided to change from another anti-theft mount to this one. I had no problem assembling the new mount itself. But during remounting, I failed to attach the metal plate to the back of the doorbell. (The previous mount had its own plate attached.) Then, Google Home kept showing, "Device Off - Device Not Mounted," and the doorbell wouldn't light up or record Live. The "turn on function" in the app didn't work, even though Device Information showed it was connected to WIFI. I spent several hours removing and reinstalling the doorbell, as well as the app, per various troubleshooting sources. When I figured out my error, I disassembled the bracket for the 5th time, attached the metal plate to the doorbell, and VOILA! It chimed and lit up, and the camera began recording instantly. I must say that I like this mount much better than the other because the doorbell is much more secure within the encasement. My front door angles away from the stairs, but the wedged design points the camera back toward the entrance. The metal bracket fits more snugly to the door; and is thicker, stronger, and sturdier. The previous one had a longer tightening screw, which bent sideways when tightened. This one is made of better materials overall and holds perfectly. (It looks exactly like the photo, so there's really no reason to attach another one.)

Decent mounts, terrible screws
I picked this up after my last swiveling "theft-proof" mount got ripped off my door by a thief, hoping the angle and more enclosed style would avoid this issue. It does seem like it would be a lot harder to have that happen again and the angle works well enough. However, as most people have mentioned, the screws and the provided screwdriver itself are terrible. After assembling once, some of the screw heads were already stripping, and the screwdriver tip itself was rendered almost useless as well, so opening it to charge would be a probblem. The one reason I'm bothering to write this review is that there is a very simple solution. The screws for the enclosure itself (not the ones to mount to the bracket) are M3 x 10mm machine screws, so do yourself a favor and pick up a set of them with hex socket heads so you can use an allen wrench. I had some socket cap head ones which are less prone to stripping and they fit perfectly. Problem solved, no stripping the head, no loose enclosure, and (hopefully) no issues with disassembly when it's time to charge.

I sleep peacefully knowing my doorbell camera is secured
This has worked perfectly just as advertised. My Google Nest doorbell fits right in there with no issues. My door closes tightly. I have zero concerns about it being taken. Thank you 😊

Works decently well and on a doorframe less-than-ideal
It is decently solid enough of a construction and it is relatively easy to install. I would suggest a few updates to it to bump it up to 5 stars. -Enable angle adjustments so it can be adjusted as needed -Make it a bit quicker to take down and apart because it is made for a batter powered unit, it should assume a few charges a year -Make the bracket a bit more adjustable as well The bracket is thin enough that it fits through my doorframe even though it has a lip on it in the middle--it is tight and takes a bit more effort to close but is definitely great in that it fits my stubborn doorframe. REALLY good for an apartment unit and looks like it will be secure enough over its life. I definitely recommend this if you need a non-permanent solution for a battery-powered nest/google doorbell.

Cheap and Inefficient
I have not had this for even a year and it’s constant issues when I need to disassemble to recharge my doorbell. They had to send me a replacement because I didn’t have any bolts or a screwdriver. It was actually in no box just a plastic bag which tells me it was used and no one checked. Now a bolt is stuck and I will have to break it to get to my doorbell to charge it. It does fit the door but it’s not the best fit as it did scrap the inside of my apartment door… would rather a refund and spend my money on a different setup at this point but most likely not happening.

Great Mount
I had my Nest Doorbell mounted on my door frame when one day someone tried to steal my doorbell twice in the same day. I decided I needed something a little more theft proof so I purchased this. The product is very sturdy and feels well made. It's easy to install and though it's a little annoying to have to unscrew the back every time you need to charge the doorbell, I'm not too bothered by it knowing that my doorbell is well protected. Haven't had any further theft attempts!

Convenient and pretty, but super easy to steal the doorbell in 2 simple ways
It's nice looking and installation is easy, but calling it Anti-Theft isn't very honest. The mounting bracket is metal, but the housing for the Nest Doorbell Battery is plastic, even where it attaches with 4 small screws. A flathead screwdriver wedged on either side of the doorbell (left/right), right where the plastic housing meets the doorbell, will release this to any thieve very easily in seconds. That, or lift the doorbell housing from the door from the opposite side away from the door frame, and flex it towards the door frame, and the plastic part held to the bracket with those 4 screws will give very easily and the thief gets to keep the housing too. I like it, but Wasserstein should be ashamed calling it anti-theft. The housing should be metal, and there are possible cutouts that can be made to prevent wifi signal degradation, just like all cell phone and modern tech manufacturers do. I and I'm sure many more would pay more for a solid housing, not plastic. The seller Hero World Limited was great!
