Really good lens, especially for the price.
Purchased this when I did everything I could to replace/repair my previous lens. The auto-darkening feature is such a luxury to have now that I do. I don't think I could ever go back to a lens that is not auto-darkening. It's so convenient to not have to be messing with my helmet every time I'm not actively welding. It's also nice to not be burning my eyes.Overall great price, great quality, will probably purchase another for my partner.

Dimensions
The width is 4.49 , the height is 5.24 and is about 0.375 thick. I had to put it sideways on my welding helmet but it works fine.

great response from seller
1st unit did not work properly. Seller responded quickly with a new unit which works great. They contacted me twice regarding the issue with the original and the replacement. Pleased with replacement and sellers rapid response.

Does not work correctly
Product does darken when the test button is depressed. In bright sunlight it will darken momentarily when waving your hand across the sensor. Replaced the batteries and adjusted the sensitivity, delay and shade level didn't resolve the problem.

Fits Miller elite hoods perfectly
Somehow my lense got cracked in my $300 dollar welding hood, no problem replace it right, eh not at $270 just for the lense. In comes this product, granted it doesn't have half as many sensors and it doesn't allow you to see the welds in color like an elite does but it does auto darken, it does so quickly and without the need to turn the lense on or off, I took a couple pics, it has sensitivity shade and delay basically all you need, it also has a switch to change from grind to low shades to high shades or light to dark shades, because it splits the shades up like that it gives a ton of control over how dark it gets and it gets plenty dark but to be honest it has been great using it. I broke the lense in my elite less than a month after getting the hood, been using it like that while only able to use the bottom left corner to view my welds, it's been a pain. Now I just put the hood on and go to town, can see fine when it's not dark and when it is well I still can see great. Couldn't be happier with this find and purchase. If you are in the same situation I was in pull the trigger, it works and it's easier than having to turn the thing on and off every single time cause you don't do that with this one, just weld and it works. Stop and it turns off, the way it should have always been imo

Correct part # when replacing Lens for auto-helmet , TRQWH makes the change very easy!
While all welding helmets have a "light filter" to protect the welders eyes, mine is "auto-darkening. first time for me to change the lens-filter. you folks made it easy with plug & play light filter! being adjustable makes the job that much easier.

Doesn't like tig
It did alright with stick welding at 80-130 amps, but I was tig welding at 100-160 amps and it kept flashing me, even with a clear view of the arc. Good thing it was cheap.
