King of the Party (Large Steak Combo Pack)

I need them badly.Please and thank you!1st of all IDK how I stumbled on steaks at Amazon but I did! Filets to be exact and boy have I been SKEPTICAL at the idea of ordering meats from the "internet" ... I was pretty sure meat and men were probably the two things a girl shouldn't bring home from the web! Lol!I was perhaps little judgemental about the meats. After reading the reviews I decided to try it and see how it goes.I opted for a sampler box, aka "The Party Starter," consisting of these:2- 6 Oz Filets,2- 10 Oz NY Strip marbling obvious, gristle obvious.2- 14 oz. Pork Chops (Bone in, french cut)Easily these are 2 inches thick and big as my hand, bone in and beautiful chops...If they taste as good as they look... MY GOD.Likes:These were shipped FAST! Immediately in fact. They were individually vacume sealed, frozen absolutely solid and shipped in a standard shipping box housing a Styrofoam cooler and bagged chunk of dry ice, the meats were in a smaller box inside the cooler to prevent the ice touching the meats directly & marring them.FeedTheParty.com did take care to insure a fresh, safe, quality product hit my door in excellent condition.Tonight I made myself a strip for dinner, I habitually wet brine my steaks by covering in water and adding salt .. for about 2 hours, patted dry and seasoned liberally w pepper.Once at room temp. I pan fried it w olive oil on my cast iron griddle along w/a sliced vindelia sweet onion, carmelized w butter.I did accidently cook it to an unfortunate well done (med was intended but a phone call distracted me and 3 min. Later..sigh) EVEN SO... the steak was still tender...ish lol sigh!In spite of over-cooking my steak, the flavor was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS.Dislikes: Over-cooking my steak!There was a little more gristle than expected but again, the flavor of the strip was truly just DELICOUS.Will I be ordering again?Absolutely yes, I will.I probably will NOT order the NY Strip, but the Filets, yes. I will likely go for Ribeye, and if these Chops are as good as they look.... YES!Thanks FeedTheParty.com for your attention to quality!

I got these in the time estimated, enjoyed the seasoning also. The problem I have and it’s a huge deal considering which steaks were bad.. all of the steaks, pork chops were phenomenal except one twin pack of filet mignon. Both steaks in this one package had such a pungent, sour smell, I threw up when I smelled it. It was so bad that the moment I opened it in the sink even my husband across the room asked what in the world was that smell!? I had to wrap them up tightly to throw them out. I don’t know what the smell was from but they were too rotten and iffy to even have near the other meats. Nothing else had a bad smell at all. I’m disappointed because I feel the majority of the price was for the filets and half of mine were absolutely not safe to eat.

For the love of god, make them easier to open. Put a pull tab on the packaging or something. I buy a pound of bacon at the store and its got an easy open tab. Why doesn't your steaks have that too?Yes, the steaks and chops were really good. I grilled the steaks with nothing but some butter and black pepper and they were outstanding.

The Package was a gift to my Son in Law for his Birthday! He cooked all the food on Memorial Day! The next day he called me and raved about the meat and especially the seasoning, that he said he had never had anything like it before!

I was not thrilled with the meat I recived. It was about the same as what I can get from the local butcher, almost. I had higher expectations but was let down. Good meat can be grilled with no maranaid and and still have some flavor. This meat just didn't work for me. I also never received the bottle of seasoning, even after sending two emails.

Sent it to my kids as a gift and all said they really enjoyed everything!!!! Will buy for me next....
