Works really well
So I have given a lesser star rating for easy to use, as although I found a setting that I needed, I have used it very easily, but it's taken a lot of work to learn all the button pushes to get to a screen I needed when I needed it. So I am allowing in some part as user error! Once I found a setting that did what I needed, I actually have left it set in that particular mode/method. But I haven't found it quite as user friendly. I have had to watch a youtube video a few times to know how to adjust the power settings. But it does trigger my flashes as and when I needed it too. Need to use the right type of batteries* again user error! ;-) highly recommend it though. It's not the sturdiest bit of kit, so I'm very careful with it.

Excellent product
Bought as a flash controller for my Canon 5D MkII. Works perfectly with my Canon Speedlite 430 EXII in all respects. I also have a Canon Speedlite 580 EX MkI, however the controller only governs this unit's ETTL and Flash Exposure Compensation functions. It will not control Manual functions for the 580 flash unit. I am sure this is due to the unit being a Mark One device with relatively basic connectivity, and is nothing to do with the Godox XPro-C. Both flash units each require the Godox X1R-C receiver units to be attached. Very happy with the overall performance and value for money.

Great. Does what it’s supposed to.
Works great at controlling all the flashes. Very easy to use. My 1st one dropped and broke so I wish it was stronger but apart from that I have no issues at all.

It uses AA batteries
I'm using this Godox XPro-C TTL 2.4G Wireless High Speed Sync 1/8000s Flash Trigger X System with Godox Speedlight and a Canon body. I am not totally familiar with it as yet and found it a bit tricky to navigate. It is fully functional though and seems to have capabilities I might never get round to using, like having multiple speedlights in different groups. for some reason I felt disappointed that it uses AA batteries but I don't know what I was really expecting. My speedlight has its own type of battery which performs magnificently, maybe I wanted the same for this trigger. The display is bright and easy to see which is a good thing.

The trigger we have been waiting for
The trigger we have all been waiting for, it does everything the xt1 and the x32 does, and more. The ability to individually select groups is a win in itself, and to turn on/off groups on the fly is the icing on the cake. Add to that the ability to remote control the zoom settings on flashes (they must be set to auto zoom on the flash for this to work) and already you have three amazing reasons to upgrade. The form factor is much better, the screen interface much larger and more intuitive, and there are a whole host of extra options/possibilities I've not even mentioned. Definitely the perfect trigger for the Godox family. Also has the ability for future firmware updates (cable is not included however, and you'll need a windows computer to do it from).

Crazy
Firstly the packaging it came in was appalling. the box was crushed. I put in 2 batteries and the screen went crazy. Couldn't get any info on the screen. Unusual for Godox. I have 3 Godox flashes and they are excellent quality. I wanted this to control the 3 flashes. Maybe the crushed box had something to do with it. I'll stick with my old controller for now.

I recently picked up the Godox XPro-C and it’s made my lighting setup so much smoother. Here’s what stands out: The trigger uses the 2.4 GHz Godox X wireless radio system, giving reliable transmission up to around 328 ft (≈100 m). It’s fully compatible with Canon EOS cameras via E-TTL / E-TTL II and supports high-speed sync up to 1/8000s — perfect for on- and off-camera flash setups. The workflow is great: you get 32 channels, up to 16 groups (and 99 wireless ID settings) so it handles complex multi-light scenarios without interference. The user interface is a big win: a large clear LCD display plus dedicated group buttons let you adjust power, mode (TTL/manual), HSS, etc quickly — no digging through menus. Unique feature: the TCM (TTL-Convert-Manual) mode is brilliant — you can meter in TTL and then instantly switch to manual mode while retaining the equivalent output. Ideal for consistent lighting in changing conditions. Build quality & value: It feels solid, and for the price you get features that used to cost much more. If you’re getting into advanced lighting or already doing it, this trigger is a major upgrade. Summary: If you shoot with Canon and external flashes (speedlites or studio lights) and want a trigger that offers serious control, ease, and flexibility — the Godox XPro-C is a fantastic choice. Highly recommended!

Einfach super.
