Makes it a doddle to test the alarms.
We have 2 rental properties with fire alarms in each. Although the tenants are instructed to test the alarms weekly and to let us know if the batteries need changing , I feel better going in twice a year and doing a smoke test of each unit. I used to light a match then blow it out and hope that there was enough smoke to trigger the alarm. Needing to stand on a charge in one of the properties as it is an old terraced house with nearly 3 metre ceilings. Don’t need to worry any more. Extend, point and press button to release smoke near the alarm. Instant alarm.

Reliable and easy to use
Very good product. It's easy to use and lasts a long time for multiple tests. The alarms can take a few seconds to respond or sometimes need a quick second burst but so far it's worked every time. It is a reliable way of checking a smoke alarm is working in response to smoke and not just by pushing the button.

Artificial smoke
Worked well, as indicated in description. The telescopic shroud works well and projects the spray at a small distance from the smoke detector head. Only used it with commercial fire alarm systems, but not domestic stand self contained detectors.

Does the job simple to use
Was bought for colleague who needs to test dectors. As normal supplier didn't have one available. Doesn't take much to test. And said as good a ones uses.

Handy test tool for all types of smoke detectors
Bought this to test my newly installed fire alarm system. One spray and each detector activates. The extendable tube helps to direct smoke so no ladder is needed. This can be used with most smoke detectors to test smoke detection. The push button test on typically smoke alarms only test the electronics of the unit. This test smoke verifies actual operation without damaging the unit. Only a slight pleasant odour is noticeable.

Great for checking smoke alarms in let properties
I am an inventory clerk and need to check smoke alarms in let properties. This works quickly and efficiently and means I do not have to find a long stick to push the button on ceiling smoke alarms

The photo of this item shows 2 can so I thought good deal. No ITS ONE CAN FOR £20 PLUS .... DONT BUY FROM HERE
