My 6 year old is 46 inches tall and very slender. His older sister ordered this for him for Christmas.The picture shows him with a standard sized paper back for sizing comparison.The shoulders don't fit right.The item description lists the product as a sweatshirt. It is NOT made of sweatshirt material. It is a light t-shirt material.The sleeves are way too short.The fin lays flat on the back and does not stick up like a fin does.The waist sits right at his pant waist.The pocket opening is a bit tight for his little hands to get into.The fabric is soft.The hood is wide but not generous.The face is not embroidered on, it's silk screened.He loves it but it's barely big enough for him now so I expect it to last a month or two at most.

I normally order one size up for my son so he can grow into it and the clothes can be worn enough times to be worth it. I ordered 2 sizes up in this case and it fits him perfectly. He currently wears size 18 months carters and cat and jack brand. He actually still fits in his 12 month carters brand jackets. So I figured the 2-3 year old size would fit him and give him extra room to grow in based on reviews of it being small. Buttttt it actually fits perfectly (see pics). So order up 2 sizes up of what you would normally order for your child.As a previous reviewer said - the inside of the hood is an orange color. The fin doesn’t stand up, there’s no wiring or material in the fin to help it stand. The hoodie is thin for a typical hoodie - T-shirt material. So it’s like a long sleeve shirt with a hood.Overall - I really like it. It’s super cute and it works out for us living in Southern California where it doesn’t get that cold.

This item is super cute! I purchased this for my two-year-old grandson who wears a size 2T. I'm returning it for the second time and have had to order him a size 5 to 6. I'm hoping it won't be too small. My grandbaby has a small frame so I am surprised that the sizes for and under do not fit him. Other than that, I really love this sweatshirt.3 sweatshirt received. It is the exact same size as the last one. This is the third sweatshirt I will be returning. This is a four or five and my grandbaby wears a two T. I thought the last two seemed like they were exactly the same size but I had already returned the first one. This time I waited and they are exactly the same size.

This is super cute and good quality for the price. It’s a thin hoodie but perfect for layering. The hood is cute with the teeth, eyes and nose. The shark fin is cool too. Not too hard so if my little one is sitting back, it shouldn’t be any issues.I’m just really glad I read the reviews. My little one is almost 21 months. He wears 18mths to 2t depending on the brand. I bought the size 4-5 and it fits him perfectly with plenty of room to grow. It’s big enough to not look like a dress but he can wear this for at least another year. The sleeves cover his hands but with one, maybe 2, fold, it’s fine. I’d say the 4-5 fits like a 2-3T.Just glad it fits my little one and I love the price! (Under $12) Perfect for Halloween too!

Super cute lightweight hoodie. This is kinda thin, so I'd say more for spring/fall where the breeze makes it a little chilly. Also if possible I would suggest ordering this a size or two up, we ordered the 5/6 for our 4yo and he has enough room for a tshirt underneath. Its a really cute and he loved it, hasn't taken it off since it came out of the dryer. When you first take it out of the package it has a slight chemical smell. All in all its great, wish they offered them in larger sizes so we could order a larger one incase he grows more before he gets bored with this one.

This product is extremely cute, fit well (got a 4T for my 3yr old his normal size) but I was slightly disappointed when it came because according to the description this is a sweatshirt, which is what I needed, a hoodie but when it arrived it’s just a hooded long sleeve shirt. There is zero warmth to this, it’s no different than wearing a long sleeve T-shirt. If you are looking for an actual sweatshirt look elsewhere but if you want a hooded T-shirt to use as a lightweight “sweatshirt” then buy it. It is really cute just disappointing to expect a sweatshirt and get a shirt.

I ordered two of these for my kids. The 2 to 3 years size came as a size 90 (about a 12 months) and the 4 to 5 years came as a size 110 (about a 2T). I would order 2 to 3 sizes up if you want to get the right fit. better yet, please improve your product descriptions tp cut out the guess work.The quality of the hoodie is nice, but is a t shirt material not a true sweat shirt, and the hood lining is orange and not red.
