Arise Stylish Acacia Bread Box for Kitchen Countertop, Extra Large 2-Shelf Wooden Bread Storage Container with Clear Windows and Air Vents Keep Bread, Bagels and Rolls Fresh, Self Assembly

I need a bread box that is cat-resistant, so the latching features must work securely. The product parts were well-packed, and the instructions were easy to follow. The biggest problem on my kit was that the pre-drilled screw holes for attaching the top door were not aligned properly (picture attached). The second problem, for everyone, is that attaching the top door is step one. It is easier to fasten in place early rather than later and helps to provide a prop for later steps. However, there is no way to verify how well the magnets on the top door and on the middle tray will align at this point. (Second picture shows that the door appeared to be aligned well despite the misaligned holes) I did try a dry fit (without screwing all the parts together), and the magnets seemed to align, but when I proceeded to complete assembly, the magnets did not align. My top door magnets did not have even partial contact with the shelf magnets, and it appeared at that point that the tapped holes or hinges were more poorly aligned than they first appeared. I purchased longer screws, removed the door by backing out only the four screws on the box side of the hinges, plugged the holes, did a careful and tedious alignment of the door (difficult to do at this point), marked and tapped new holes, and screwed the hinges onto the box again. With the holes slightly offset from their original location and properly aligned to match the hinges, the magnets now work. It is evident that there was faulty workmanship beyond the placement of the pre-drilled holes; because I must leave the screws slightly loose, it seems the hinge areas on the box are morticed too deeply for the hinge plates. Someday, I might pad them, but for now the box looks nice and the magnets engage. I didn't try a return, because I felt no certainty that a replacement would be better. I would recommend a design change that added either installation of the magnet blocks atop the middle shelf, as a late step, or made them slightly adjustable. Normally, any time alignment cannot be assured before assembly or construction, doors are hung and then latches and stops are installed or adjusted.

Love this product! All pre-drilled holes in correct place. Simple assembly. Took 15 minutes, tops! I am loving these companies that include the tools required to assemble. A simple screwdriver was included, and that was all it took to assemble.Also, thank you Apace Living for putting identifying stickers on all the pieces that come OFF CLEAN!So many stickers have to be scrapped off the pieces and leave residual gummy backing on the piece.It is big, double decker, beautiful, easy to assemble bread box!

I bought this bread box because I was tired of my bread either getting smashed or lost in the cabinet. But since my kids are not to far off from establishing themselves I'm mindful to buy stuff I can pass on to my kids that they will want and treasure with memories of home. This bread box is delivering on that! It's beautiful classic style that my kids are fighting over who gets to take it when they have their own home. I also bought the recipe box from this same company and same story. My kids all want to take it with them. I will say the first bread box that came had a few functional issues. I contacted customer service. They took care of me. Super nice (refreshing in today's world) super professional. I seriously would recommend them and their products all the way around. And their products really are worth passing on to the next generation.

I really like the way this bread box looks on my countertop. I wanted something stylish to hold bread and baked goods to keep them from just being a jumbled pile on the counter. The clear windows make it easy to see what is inside. The compartments hold more than I expected.My only tip would be to drill pilot holes for the screws if you have the ability. One screw started to Crack the wood so I backed it out and grabbed my drill to finish.I would recommend this item. It is beautiful and useful.

The overall look of this Bread Box is beautiful. The Acacia wood color perfectly matches my kitchen cabinets. I am a 70-year-old single woman. I was able to put it together myself in about three hours. There were no drilled holes in the larger parts. That required definite hand strength. I also found the directions to be lacking. I had to figure how to put it together more logically. How they told me to do it, actually required sometimes, another person holding the parts. I was able to prop up the parts against my countertop. The handles are a bit loose. I did my best to tighten them. It is a great size. I have filled it up with muffins, bread loaves and hotdog buns. It can even hold more than that. It was priced a bit too high for the level of assembly and problem with certain parts. I am keeping it. I will be interested to see if my bread goods stay fresh.

5/5Honestly, such a fun addition to the kitchen. Bread stays fresh for way longer than before, and the cutting board is a perfect touch.Had some curvature to some boards that made things difficult to put together, but unscrewing and re-screwing a few pre-set screws got things to work!

This is an incredible addition to my kitchen! I love baking and hated losing breads and pastries due to drying out or because of mold. This breadbox kept bagels, bread, and brownies fresh for days londer than using plactic or paper wraps. Highly recommended and bonus....it looks great in my kitchen.

Colis reçu dans les délais annoncés. Aucun problème de livraison ou d'emballage. Le montage est très bien expliqué par écrit comme par vidéo sur internet. Le seul bémol que j'ai trouvé est le petit tournevis avec lequel j'ai vraiment peiné au départ à rentrer les vis. Ce n'est qu'après avoir pris le mien, plus grand et plus maniable que la boîte a été montée très rapidement. Le résultat est magnifique et correspond tout à fait à l'article montré. La boîte est grande, solide avec de belles finitions soignées et je ne peux que la recommander !
