It is not an egg peeler... it is an egg shell cracker!
works perfectly. It is not an egg peeler... it is an egg shell cracker! the goal is just to impact or fracture the egg enough to enable you to peel away the shell.I think the ones failing are trying to get the whole egg shell to peel away inside the cylinder and the time it might take for the egg shell to fall off or disintegrate you could have removed the egg from the cylinder and peeled off the shell in a fraction of the time of shaking it.With a small amount of water and 2/3 shakes you can hear and feel the egg crack with a thud. stop, dont try shaking more, just pull out the egg and start peeling it. Trust me, it will peel much faster than doing it the traditional way. Sometimes it takes 5 seconds and sometimes it takes 1 second to remove the shell. It usually took me 2 to 5 minutes to peel 1 egg. was frustrating to say the least.Factors to Consider;1.) If your egg ends like soup, it is either your egg was not hard boiled enough.2.) use less vigor than you would use a salt shaker. should just be enough force for egg to travel from one end to other. Start gently, you can hear the egg and feel the egg shell break/crack and then stop.3.) too little water or too much water. I add enough water to be about level with the yellow cap and the clear cylinder meet.

Works great but a few tips.
Great but a few tricks I've learned. (And I've tried many variations.)1) The key is peeling COLD EGGS. After you cook your eggs, cool them in a fridge or ice water before you use peeler. Vinegar in water or other tricks make no difference. I start with eggs in plain COLD water then boil and never get green yokes, btw.As far as peeling, I tried hard-boiled eggs from same batch -- some immediately after cooking and others when cold. Night and day difference in peeling. Cold eggs worked perfectly. Warm eggs were a mess.2) Use a little more water than recommended in peeler (helps cushion the eggs).3) Don't shake too hard. I scrambled a few. "Vigorous" is too much.Good luck!

This works really well!
I love hard-boiled eggs, but I hate the tedious job of shelling the darn things. I've seen too many 'hacks' and gadgets that promise to make things easy, but they never deliver. Would the 'Negg Boiled Egg Peeler' be different? Happily, yes!THE ROSES: Very well made, well packaged and good instructions included. You put a hard-boiled egg in with 1/4C of water, give a little shake, and - viola! - a perfectly shelled egg, ready for salads or your lunch box. This thing works as advertised!THE THORNS: A little spendy compared with other gadgets. This was almost 2x the price of the last egg-peeling gadget I bought, but the difference is this gadget actually works!THE VERDICT: If you like hard-boiled eggs or are the one tasked with bringing a big batch of deviled eggs to the potluck, and you hate peeling the silly things, this is the product for you! Enthusiastically recommend!

The best way to peel hard boiled eggs!
I should have purchased long ago. I purchased this with my new egg cooker and now I have perfectly cooked and easily peeled hard boiled eggs for my deviled eggs every time. I highly recommend this!

Works well
At first I thought it was not a good purchase. Then I experimented with water levels and didn't shake it as hard…now its great! I've found after you shake the egg and take it out, if you begin peeling all the way around the center of the egg, the entire egg will peel much easier.

its....ok!
so let me say i boiled 20 eggs. then after they were done boiling i put them in cold water with ice for 20 minutes and put each one of the eggs in this little thing. it works ok. about 7 of my eggs came out damaged , 3 were destroyed completely. 10 were good! so it has a 50 / 50 chance of working! i suggest being patient with this as going ham on it will def ruin eggs, and with the economy and egg prices you dont want that! i used this for my eggs, i need to make deviled eggs. so like its ok, half of them i cant use. im going to try it again later before deciding if keeping it is worth it. sometimes the egg shells peel right off, other times trying to peel it off will take some of the white with it. i would give this a 5 out of 10. its not bad but it could be better especially for the price!

Pretty good.
The first time I used this, it didn’t work. The second time, worked perfectly and then the third time, was just ok. It’s a great tool when it works!
