I'm using the cash budgeting system & this is the best way to organize my categories that I've tried so far. I've tried regular envelopes and I previously owned a wallet made by Dave Ramsey. Although I liked the Dave Ramsey one, this one is much better. It's extremely stylish (I have the pink one) & I love the way that it zips up. The section that allows you to organize the cash also has a little strap to keep the accordian section closed, so that your cash is not exposed every time you open your wallet.Even when it's full of my cards, cash, checkbook, and change, it still zips up pretty flat. It comes with a wristlet that can be used to make it like a purse, or slipped into a fold discretely to make it just a wallet. It also has a pen holder, which is really convenient if you are also tracking your spending on paper or in a check register. It looks even better than it does in the pictures and it is definitely a 5-star product. I have gotten a lot of compliments on it already and I have a couple of people who want to order one to use the slots to organize coupons and receipts. Shipping was also fast - I received my wallet in about 3 days.Drawback:The only drawback is that it only has 5 slots. I didn't take away a star because that information is offered up front before you make the purchase. I really need 8 slots, though, to accomodate all of my variable spending. For example, I need a slot for "medication," but I don't have enough slots to dedicate one whole slot to that, so I made a broader "personal" category and can just slip the medicine money into a small envelope to keep it separate and place it in the personal section. I also need a section for tithes, but just choose to keep this money in a small envelope within another section to keep it separate. I made "eating out" part of entertainment, and that solved the last of my issues. If this wallet had more slots for money, it would be perfect. ### ⭐⭐⭐ 3.0 out of 5 stars NOT Durable. Otherwise Fantastic. *by .***. on Reviewed in the United States on May 23, 2021* I have had this wallet for two whole months now... and the outside of the wallet is already disintegrating.This 'pleather' is made from vinyl. I knew this when I bought this, but I expected this to last longer than two months before it started to rub away. I am not abusive to the wallet, I keep it in my purse and only take it out to pay.If it wasn't for the lack of durability, I would have absolutely loved this. The tab dividers are wonderfully useful (compared to the Bella Taylor wallet's cash system) and allow me to reach for the correct tab without looking inside each cash slot.The color (I bought the red 'leather' vinyl version) is beautiful, and almost perfectly matches the Kipling purse I keep it in.My favorite part of this wallet is the hide-away wrist strap! It is amazing and something I wish more manufactures would use in their design. very useful and sleek.If Savvycents made a LEATHER or even something like NYLON, (which is cheaper than leather and in my experience, long-lasting), I would pay for another wallet. I would (personally) be willing to spend $10-20 more to get one of these in leather or nylon! (Of course in the same red color, lol) Something that would last! I really like the wallet other than the fact that it just doesn't hold up well. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Stylish alternative to Ramsey's envelopes *by R***M on Reviewed in the United States on January 15, 2016* I love this wallet! This is a tremendous help for me as we manage our money using the envelope system. The DR paper envelopes just didn't work for me as they are not easy to open, take money out, close up again and put away. Plus, paper wears out over time and the envelopes would need to be replaced. Also, I don't want to be obvious about carrying cash. With two little ones, I needed something that was quick and easy. This classy looking wallet definitely fits the bill.There are little stickers (Gas, Grocery, Restaurants, Clothing, Entertainment, and 6 blank) that you can use to label the 5 different sections. I just slip the receipt in the section so later I can update my excel spreadsheet. A strap with snap keeps that whole section together and there's a zippered pouch on the back for change.There is a bit of new "pleather" smell but it's fading. The only thing I wished is that there was room for a few more card slots because although I don't carry credit cards, I do have insurance cards for every family member, library cards, educator discount card, etc. With a little bit of maneuvering, I've found a way to make it work.Overall I am very pleased with this purchase.
