Review: such a good game!! the story is very interesting and i love all the characters Review: Originally released in 2008, Tales of Vesperia only came to North America on the Xbox 360 console. Unfortunately, it did not have the "full" version like its Playstation 3 counterpart, which included two playable characters and some extra content. After a World Premier during the Xbox Conference at E3 2018, it was revealed that the Definitive Edition was on its way to multiple platforms! Primarily, the Playstation 3 version of it. The Definitive Edition, a remastered version of its original release, is an absolute welcome to this generation of consoles! Personally, I never finished the game on the Xbox 360 console a decade ago, but I'm happy to have another opportunity to do so. Unlike most RPG's, the combat system is in real-time, so you won't be stuck waiting for your turn like in traditional turn-based battles. Four characters take the screen in battle, and you can mix and match who you want depending on who's in your party and you don't have to be stuck fighting as the main protagonist of the game, you can fight as who you want! It's the only part of the game where three of your buddies can join in on the fight if you don't want to count on the computers. The battle system has more in-depth strategies, so you'll have to play and see for yourself as the story goes on a bit further. The story, characters... I can't tell you enough - Yuri, the main protagonist, is probably the most badass character in the Tales series. The guy has some bite! The interactions between characters (also via the Character Skit) is absolutely entertaining. They engage in conversation a LOT, so it can be good or bad depending on your patience, but if you're a lover of JRPG's you should be able to tolerate it! The story isn't groundbreaking, it's as what most 'Tales of' games are. What is it like? I'm not saying, I'm not spoiling anything. ;) All in all, I've failed to write a COMPLETE review of the game, however, I'm still playing and trying to finish it as I'm writing this. If you're already a fan of the 'Tales of' series, this is truly the last game (I believe) that has the traditional Overworld freedom to explore the map. The titles that released afterwards either have a town selection box or interconnected levels of fields to run through. I think, Tales of Vesperia is the last one to keep hold of its old formula before branching off like the way Xillia, Zestiria and Berseria did. Don't get me wrong, I think they're all great games in their own right. Vesperia, however, has a special place in my heart... along with Abyss and Symphonia.

I first fell in love with Tales of Vesperia when it was first released in North America in 2009. I enjoyed the game, its characters and story even despite some of the game's core content being cut in that version. I'm pleased to see that all of the cut content has made it into this definitive edition. the overall flow of the game is improved with the cut content added back in. Even though I played this game inside out 10 years ago, the added content has given it some great replay value. The older Tales battle control system can be a little clunky at times, but doesn't detract much from the experience. If you are feeling nostalgic about this game I'd recommend you pick it up. If you're a fan of the Tales of Series but haven't played this one before, definitely pick this one up, it's one of my favourites, the characters are great!

Uno de mis favoritos, me encanta la franquicia. Si te gustan los juegos RPG, anime design duo audio, nivelar a tus personajes, ganar mas fácil los last bosses y pasear sobre el mapa, este juego es para ti.
