Under ArmourBoy's Yard Turf Jr. Baseball Shoe

This turf shoe, from my research has the best grip that can be used on turf, grass or an indoor facility that I have seen on the market under $100. My son plays on numerous baseball teams competitively and uses these turf shoes all the time. He is a pitcher and catcher, so these turf shoes do take a beating. The narrower shoes do not fit his wide feet, but these fit the bill. They are a little snug at the start, but once broken in they are great.When running the bases or playing the field on dirt and turf, he has never slipped nor lost his footing. The bottoms definitely hold their own. What made me feel even better when picking these turf shoes is that at the beginning of the season, he was the only one with them, and at this point, one year later, over half the team now wears the same brand/style turf shoe. So apparently, Under Armour definitely did something right with this product!If I had to give these shoes a con is that the laces are a little short, and they do wear out quickly. But if a child is wearing them and beating on them in an athletic sport, any shoe is going to give way at some point. This is his third pair of this brand, the first one lasted a full year, the second lasted 6 months between it getting to the point of not being usable and him growing.I'd recommend this to a youth baseball/soccer player or any sport that turf shoes are a feasible item to use. Work a lot better than rubber cleats as I have seen numerous players slip and fall when using them and lose their footing when touching home plate.

I purchased these for my 6 year old to wear and I am very impressed. He loves the way they feel and look. They seem to have really good grip on the turf and even after a rainy day he never slipped. They appear well made, fit tts and I think they are the best looking turf shoe on his team.

My son said they are super comfortable and have good grip even on wet turf! Will buy again when he inevitably will grow out of them!

My son wore these for 2 maybe 3 tournaments and the front has already came unglued

Excellent turf shoes

They look great but after my son put them on first day they got damaged on front of the sneaker. Not good !!!

This show looks great and feels great on my 8 yr old boy.
