Awesome so far
New to these auto lens inserts, I bought another brand. It worked well for a time and then stopped taking a charge. This model doesn’t require all that because it has solar panels. Crisp and worth the money. Modern auto helmets are so heavy. Slap this lens in an old school light Huntsman etc. and your neck will thank you. Lincoln is a reputable brand you can trust.

Will die on you and give you arc eye
Stopped working after 4 months, super clear which is good. Battery life is close to none no matter the battery. While it worked it flickered a lot. It would probably flash me 2x per day and ask for new batteries every couple days until it died and never came back on. It sucks that one of the biggest welding company in the world can't make a reliable auto darkening lens that needs no batteries. Went back to using my ArcOne 240hd. Never lets me down for 100 less than this lens.

Good lens, very clear, but the shade level isn't exactly accurate sometimes.
It works pretty good, hasn't flashed me too many times, and the lens is very clear.I work with high amperage MIG (1/16'' metal core spray transfer, ~340a) and I have to use shade 13, it's more like a 11.5 on my Miller T94i PAPR. If I use it at shade 12 (what I usually use on every other hood) I get a spot in my vision. The shade level around the edges of the lens also tapers off. There's a oval plunked in the box of the lens where it's shaded to the level you have it at, but in the corners and along the sides it'll be a shade 9 or 10. Kind of annoying, especially if you're having to use the edges of your lens to see what you're doing.

Amazing product
Awesome lens from an amazing company. This allowed me to see what I was doing so much more clearly that it significantly and rapidly improved my ability to learn how to weld in school. I put the hood facing out toward the rear of my car, resting on the back seat headrest so that it’s always getting some sun and I’ve had no battery issues using it for about 10 hours a day, 4-5 days a week. Battery replacements are super cheap if you ever do need to replace it and best of all Lincoln stands by their word for the warranty of 2 years! My 2nd Viking lens had a small defect in the top left of the lens, I emailed Lincoln customer service and 3 days later I get a new one in the mail. Hot damn that’s some stellar service and I will keep buying these for every hood I own.Update: 4 months of solid, near daily use later and still no issues with my Lincoln 4c with original batteries. Does Tig, Mig, and Stick all flawlessly.Side note: you can easily file or cut down any flip up lens adapter to accommodate this lens just make sure you sandwich it in between two clear poly plates back and front to protect it while grinding.
