Looks great when it is together. And I’m sure sure it would work great if it stayed together. The part of the frame you can pull out fell off right after opening and the plexiglass does not slide into place without some coaxing.Will be returning and going with another option.

The concept of this is great. I was excited to receive it, but when I opened the package, the whole thing just looked cheap and one side of the frame (the part you pull on to slide it open) just came loose and would come off completely had I pulled it again, so I put it back in the box and returned it. Now to find something else....

If you are looking to hide cash, coins, bullion, or any other small items in your home, this cool picture frame that doubles as a simple safe may be just what you need. It can be hung on the wall or placed on a table top to fit in with your home decor. Put a family photo in the frame or any other picture that blends with your surroundings and you now have an excellent hiding place.Accessing the hidden goods is easy, simply slide the right side of the frame (see description page). i consider this a low-tech way to hide goodies without having to mess with keys or locks. It is an inexpensive way to protect your valuables you want close at hand instead of in a safe deposit box far away. As noted on the product description page, it can also be used as a hiding place for a handgun. It comes with screws and anchors for hanging it on the wall.One small caveat, the right side of my frame arrived broken and I had to re-glue it to the other three parts of the frame. Then I used a black marker to cover up the small parts of raw wood that were showing. Not a big deal, but I noticed other reviewers commented about product construction issues. The seller should make note of these complaints and address them. I would have given this frame five stars except for these problems.
