SAFETY ALERT - DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT - ARM GAVE WAY WITHOUT NOTICE - UNSAFE -I bought this chair to assist at home after fracturing my back and a 3 weeks hospital stay. At first, it felt fine, I liked the padding. But one evening I went to sit down, carefully looking behind me, putting both hands on the handles to lower myself down and one of the handles gave way very suddenly, throwing me off balance. Luckily, I did not fall off the toilet but I could have. I have no idea why the handle gave way; my husband double checked assembly (he’s an engineer), and noticed there is a button at the back you can push to let the arms down. But, of course, I did not have my arms all the way at the back until the arms while trying to sit down to go to the bathroom. It just gave way, threw me off balance and scared the bee Jesus out of me. I did nothing to trigger this arm to fall down and I won’t be using this product again. I DO NOT RECOMMEND FOR ANYONE

After one use for showering rust was dripping from it. very bad

Item arrived late and covered in a greasy substance. I had to wash all of the parts before putting the commode together.

I ordered this for my friend who needs the commode to use in the night. He is old and infirm and needs it by his bed. We couldn't fully assemble it because we're missing the pieces that connect the right arm to the chair. I've asked for them but have not had a response. He can't use it if he doesn't have both arms to help eith balance. Right now not happy.
