A must for anyone who trims their own brake lines!
If you trim your own brake hoses or housing, this tool is a must have! It has a razor sharp cutter, and the device holds the hose so you get a perfectly square cut, every single time, which is critical for fitment! The chain tool is an added bonus, ti works well, but I primarily use the cutter. The tool is well made using anodized aluminum and steel, and the price is very affordable. You need this if you work on own brakes!

well made and fit for purpose
Worked extremely well. The cutter provided a very clean cut and the barb insertion was done with ease. Everything is easier with the correct tool and this was it.

Wish it opened up
It’s a nice quality tool, but the biggest problem is that it’s not made to where you could insert the plug and then pull it back out. You can only go one direction with it so if you’re trying to put ends on both sides of a cable, it’s very difficult. You have to plug it and then you have to pull it out and pull the ring up later. If it opened up it would be much better.
