OK, I should probably give this five stars, but. I like the finish, it adjusts easily, stays in place, holds the curtain easily; but when I took it out of the box it made a cheap-sounding noise (from the loose adjustment components inside) which made it seem flimsy. Once mounted, it makes no noise of course, and it's good for the purpose, not flimsy. So, to be fair, maybe minus 1/100th of a star for the fact that there's the tiny bump in the rod where the slightly smaller inner tube fits in to the slightly larger outer tube.

A week in and its holding so much better than the big box store one. The Big Box one hand no spring, so I could never get it set exactly right to have tension needed to hold up a wet curtain, but not too wide I couldn't fit it. With this model you get it pretty close and spring makes up those last factions of an inch difference while supplying the force needed to keep the rod up. The spring inside its stiff (which is very good) and its very easy to set it a few fingers width wider than the space and press it into place. Takes a little muscle to compress the spring while setting it, but it worked fine for me. The spring then supplies the needed tension. Looks like its stainless steel and matches my chrome bathroom fixtures well. A week in of daily showers in a hot a humid summer and there is no rust marks. For those looking its also only in two pieces. Which is how shower rods should be. Seems to be quite a trend of companies breaking down pole-based products into little 1 foot long sections you screw together, and they always break easily. This is properly made, with each half being one piece. The only quip is the white foam "feet" that help it grip the wall show against the wall if you look closely. Its style is a little plain, but I don't mind it. I like minimalism.

I am very pleased with this rod. I needed something strong to handle the double thick material I used to make the kitchen curtain (the sun really heats up the kitchen uncomfortably). The rod is made of a strong metal material. While some people used not to hand shower curtains, it was made strong enough to handle the heavy material I used for the kitchen curtain, so I feel it is a very versatile rod. There was no mounting hardware and the instructions were easy to follow. I do feel their recommendation of extending the rod 1-2 inches longer before pushing one end of the rod up into position was excessive. I did not need even 1 inch. It was easy to adjust the length. The rubber on either end of the rod formed a strong adhesion to keep the rod in place. I’m pleased with the end result.

I moved into a new house in June. I’ve put up several drapery rods using an electric drill for the holes, anchors and driver for the screws, Measuring, marking and getting everything even and the right height was a lot of work for me. But, they all turned out perfect. Yay!! But~Hooray!!! for this remarkable rod. I took it out of the box, put the cap on the other end. I twisted it one way it expanded in length. I twisted the other way it got shorter. I held it up to the window with the curtain on, getting ready to hang. Climbed the ladder put it between the window frame. Found the right spot, looked at the top of the curtain, it was just right, close to the top. Twisted the rod to tighten!! Finished!!! So easy!! 5 min I highly recommend this rod ~ it is slip resistant, thickness is perfect, slid right into my curtain, I twisted it to the right width to tighten. Perfect. Done! Buy this rod, it comes in several colors and widths. Great for inside mount

Ich muss ehrlich sein - ich hab die Anleitung zur Montage in der Beschreibung absolut nicht verstanden. (Irgendwad mit zusammendrücken? Ging bei mir nicht) Das einzige, was für mich Sinn mache, war das entgegengesetzte Drehen. So hab ich die sehr leichte Gardinenstange dann erst einmal eine Weile rausgedreht (ich brauchte 2,67m) und als ich der Länge näher kam, hab ich sie an die richtige Stelle zwischen den Wänden gehalten. Noch einen Dreh zur Befestigung und voila, sie hängt und ich hätte es mir nicht besser ausmalen können. Ich gebe zu, ich war bei der Lieferung etwas abgeschreckt, weil die Feder im Inneren der Stande noch in der Verpackung unglaublich laut schepperte, aber nach der Montage hört man davon nichts mehr. Ich habe einen sehr leichten Vorhang daran hängen. Dafür aber auf über 2,6m. Innerhalb von 3 Minuten hing die Stange auf Rauhfasertapete. Ich bin sehr glücklich, dass ich nicht bohren muss! Übrigens habe ich auch die Demontage probiert, da mir die Höhe zuerst doch nicht gefiel, und auch das ging sehr einfach. Also: einfach auf die benötigte Länge drehen und ihr könnt euch die Bohrmaschine sparen. Noch dazu sieht die Stange unglaublich hochwertig aus. Nachtrag: nach über 3 Jahren (November 2023 ist die Stange das erste Mal runtergefallen, weil meine Tochter daran gezogen hat. Ging super wieder zu befestigen. 1A Qualität.
