Best men's aerobic shoe
I have tried every brand of training, walking, and aerobic shoe and I finally found a shoe that can stand up to my active exercise lifestyle. I used to turn my ankle a few times a year with other shoes and my metatarsal would be sore to the touch at least once a month. Since I have been wearing these Air Monarchs, I have not turned an ankle and my metatarsal is never sore. I have recently started using orthotics for my other shoes and they fit perfectly in the Air Monarchs with plenty of toe room. The last in these shoes is very strong and the shoes will retain form anywhere from 6 months to a year, depending on how many classes you take a week. If you workout indoors, the soles will not breakdown. I have pronounced pronation so I tend to wear out shoe soles quickly when I walk a lot, but indoors the first part of the shoe to age is the last and the shoes start to provide less support. The ball area has a round sole support which is good for spinning, turning, and other jazzercize moves. I also tend to wear holes in the toe area. Because these shoes are leather, toe wear is non-existent. I highly recommend these shoes for any type of aerobic exercise. I finally zeroed in on a size comfortable for me that is one size larger than my regular shoe size, primarily because I wear thick socks when I exercise which helps stimulate blood return as I am considered beyond middle age and my feet can swell more often. I would recommend you try shoe sizes before you buy. I order one size up on all Nike gear from experience.

Comfortable and stable. Hollow heel?
Comfortable and stable. Wear reasonably well. The rear, under the heel is actually hollow! Maybe for shock absorption? The hollow heel makes them wear out sooner than the rest of the shoe. I used "Shoe Goo", a shoe glue, to fill the hollow holes in the heel, and that extended the life somewhat.

Excellent choice, really.
A 'HAIR'. Just a HAIR small maybe. Many reviewers for example wrote #1. that they fit 'True to size,' while still others wrote #2. 'Fit as expected.' Okay. For me that's a tough one because I'm left to wonder 'Did they EXPECT' the shoe to fit a little small, or a little large and also the 'True to size' part. I say this because I've bought this that or the other thing with experience buying from that manufacturer and I EXPECTED it to fit small or large SO with that it DID fit as expected. Whereas if I'd never bought a certain brand before and the size chart gave a specific measurement and I gauged my decision to choose some size because of the information in the chart THEN an item DID or DIDN'T fit ... ALSO as 'EXPECTED. See where I'm going with this? So, iF you're POSITIVE that you wear a size 11 BUT your foot is maybe 'just' a little wide BUT not so wide that you have to buy an 11 W for example as opposed to 11 D or M. (U.S.) then you might want to go with an 11.5 or POSSIBLY even a 12 (that is to say then a half to a full size larger.) I'm serious, I am NOT yanking your chain here. These are VERY comfortable. They have a thick sole. I stand a full one inch taller in these. They absorb shock quite well also. I have a pair of Nike SHOX that I paid around $139.00 for. The Air Monarch here is WAY more comfortable for just walking around AND they're fine for treadmill. (The SHOX ARE better all around for treadmill for me due to the recovery of first my right knee, then my left: so for the ultimate running shoe for rehab, I would recommend the SHOX in tandem with some very good compression knee sleeves for what that's worth.) If you have no issues, you just want something almost all purpose, not too pricey (VERY affordable in fact) and nice looking (they don't look cheap at all,) I absolutely highly recommend these. At the same time ... I've lost my train of thought because while inserting the previous sentence I managed to delete an entire paragraph...SO the bottom line is that I highly recommend these.

Great crosstrainer shoes for my treadmill, for walking or jogging
I've bought this exact make of Nike shoes almost 10 years ago, and the adhesive for the rubber soles finally came loose. So I was happy to find this exact same make of Nike Air Monarch shoes available on Amazon. These shoes are a perfect fit if you are a 9 and 1/2 regular sized foot. They are well cushioned and help absorb shock to my aging knees. I would buy an extra pair but I don't know if the rubber for an extra pair will hold up after another 10 years. So I have to hope they still have this make of shoe available in another decade.

Wahnsinn
