Smell good, very light in texture, but it didn’t help me with my sensitive skin, once apply it still feel itchy and bit burnt. Also there is NO expiry date on box

Bought this to combat peely skin and chemical burns from starting epiduo recently. For reference, both my eyelids were bright red and peeling horribly. As well as my cheeks feeling on fire anytime if I even just touched them on accident. It’s helped tremendously at healing my skin barrier and my burns within about a week, but I still use it as a preventative measure. If I forget to wash my face and moisturize once, I find it still lasts until the next time comfortably. No offensive scent if any, and definitely a thick cream. I find the best application is to do a thin layer first and let that dry for a couple minutes. Then go back in with an equal or slightly heavier layer. Otherwise, just one layer makes your face feel tight. I also like to apply it when my face is still slightly damp from cleansing—sits and spreads better. I’ve used three other Cetaphil moisturizers on my epiduo journey, and this one by far is the way to go for retinoids. I also saw some reviews about the amount being misleading, so I included an empty vs full jar comparison ◡̈

The Cetaphil Deep Hydration Skin Restoring Water Gel has been a great everyday moisturizer. There’s nothing fancy about it — no strong scent, no over-the-top claims — but it really works. Have only used on my face for a week or so but notice smoother, brighter skin already. It’s a little expensive for such a small amount.
